He's been a great worker for almost a year and a half. Not exactly new news.
Look at his best matches, he's In the ring with Bryan, Rollins, Styles, Lesnar etc... They are booking him in the ring with top workers. I think he's a fine worker but he's definitely been booked with the best workers to make sure he doesn't look weak.
Where is this great Reigns vs Rollins match that you speak of? And yes, Bryan and Styles are top workers, as is Cesaro, but the argument that Reigns is only good when paired with top workers ended a long time ago. Lesnar (IMO) is not a good wrestler at all. He's intriguing because he's from UFC, but if any of the wrestlers worked how he did, they'd get massive heat. Big Show is washed up and him vs Reigns at ER 2015 was his last great match in a long time. The HIAC match vs Wyatt was amazing and was Reigns' first top match with someone less skilled than him. Multiple times vs Luke Harper, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Rusev, Del Rio, the list goes on. I'm not sure what more he has to do to prove he's a force to be reckoned with in the ring. He's wrestled half the roster, and usually very well. At some point you have to give him credit too.
Last year, Reigns and Rollins had roughly equal workrate, yet no one questions Rollins' wrestling prowess. Yes, anyone can have a great match with the right person, but Reigns has proven by now that he is one of those "right persons". I'm not really sure who is he supposed to wrestle to get credit for what he brings to the table. Is he supposed to go find someone from developmental? There's not exactly anyone on the roster who flat out sucks in the ring, except maybe Braun Strowman, and his match with Reigns was less of a trainwreck than any of his other singles matches.
