The New Zealand rugby sevens team has turned to Hollywood star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to help relieve its injury crisis.
The US actor and semi-retired wrestling pro recently tweeted that he played rugby union as a kid when he lived in New Zealand, adding it was the "toughest sport" he'd ever played.
All Black Sonny Bill Williams seized on the revelation to invite Johnson to join the Kiwi sevens team as it deals with an injury crisis, with two tournaments in the series left to go and the kick-off to the Rio Olympic Games less than four months away.
"Uce, we got a few boys injured atm, keen 4 a run?" Williams tweeted on Monday.
Johnson was keen: "I'm ready uce! Just say the word and I'll come running. Don't know how far, but I'll come running
