Why have multiple professional wrestlers gotten their necks broken if it's so simple?

He should've never used it in WWE.. It looks like he ripped off Michelle McCool's finisher... Obviously he didn't, but that's what it looks like to pure WWE fans.

Michelle McCool used it for years It's perfectly safe generally speaking. Only reason people ever get injured by it is if they're idiots that don't know how to take the move (like that random jobber who ended up taking a pedegree like a legit piledriver).

-----------------------------

Anyway, I think the move's getting phased out. Especially after seeing how Y2J no-sold it at Fastlane, and established the Calf Crusher as his propper finnisher. And TBH, Styles appeared to struggle to even to do it to Chris, and Chris is hardly one of the bigger dudes.

I think it's fair enough if they are getting rid of it, but I'd like to see AJ adopt a new impact finnisher to replace it, 'cause he can't always use the Crusher, and I really don't see him using the springboard 450 or Spiral tap as a regular finnisher.

You answered your own question, WWE see it as a diva move.

Also hope they let him use the spiral tap as the alternate finisher if he is not going to use the Styles Clash
You basically have to be an idiot to fuck up the Styles Clash. Don't tuck your neck. That's it.

But saying that I'm fine with the Calf Crusher being his finisher and using the Spiral Tap as a special finisher that he pulls out every so often.

Re: Why is the Styles Clash barely being used?

Well there are two reasons. AJ isn't capable of pulling it off safely and it's basically been established as Michelle McCool's move.

Michelle was able to do it for years without injuring anyone because she's billed at 5'11; taller than most Divas. The height advantage helps a ton because you allow more space for the person receiving the mood to tuck their heads out. She's also extremely strong and could support the weight of the smaller girls. Seeing as Styles is both short and physically smaller than a lot of guys on the roster, there's a lot more room for error making it riskier. Given WWE's recent past with injuries, it's safe to assume they don't want him hurting any other people.

As for the second reason, Michelle did it with power and dominance. It looked so much better to see her lay people out with the Faithbreaker. You can see AJ physically struggle to pull off the move which makes it look really awkward.

Re: Why is the Styles Clash barely being used?

I think it's pretty dumb to have Jericho kick out of it. It should be a move he only hits in the biggest of matches and it should be protected. Have him tease trying to use it in a few matches and hit it in the big ones and nobody should ever, ever kick out of it.
