So the Punk/Bryan era is officially over.

The two most over wrestlers of this generation are gone, one is retired and the other is probably never coming to a wrestling ring.

And Punk just posted this on twitter, incredible considering how much he has distanced himself from wrestling.

Man the feels, so sad these guys never had a match on Wrestlemania.

Yeah it's definitely a sad day even if contractually punk could come back it wouldn't b for long. They did have a match prior but that was before Bryan got really over

Re: So the Punk/Bryan era is officialy over.

When I saw Punk post this last night it not only brought a smile to my face, but a realization that it was an end of an era.

Punk & Bryan and the success they had in WWE opened the door of the influx of talent WWE has signed over the past few years.

The right topic arose, he just doesn't like talking about WWE when he gets asked the same questions in an interview (you notice he changes the subject or gets pissy).

Well, they are 37 and 38 and no much well known in front non- marky crowds.

I doubt they would ever emulate something close to Bryan/Punk succes.
