AJ is being treated great thus far. Absolutely no cause for concern.

He wasn't going to jump right into the main event because he's smaller than 95% of the uppercard. You have to give people a reason to believe that a guy his size can match up with the big dogs. Give it time, he'll be fine.

Well no shit. Did anyone really have any hope for Aj Styles in wwe? These fuckers will ruin everyone just for the hell of it. I will enjoy Nakas nxt run but I dread the day he,s called up to the mainroster.

I like AJ Styles and he does bring something to the table in the WWE and I hope he becomes a WWE World Heavyweight Champion. With that out of the way, would some fans be a bit patient?

AJ just debuted and do you want him like an automatic push to the top? Let him, gradually, get used to the WWE for like a year or two before giving him the title push. And the way he debuted, it looks fine to me... he cleanly defeated Chris Jericho and he's somewhat feuding with The Miz. Give AJ Styles and WWE sometime.

They had Sting (who is 100x more popular/better resume than Styles) come in and get embarrassed in his feuds.

You all are really surprised WWE is saying this stuff?

People may have heard of Styles - but 90% of the general WWE audience saw him first wrestle when he was in his first matches at WWE.

This is clearly the way they're going with him, it's fine, AJ was on Jericho's podcast and talked about how him and Vince discussed his character in WWE.

Quote:
“Him and I did sit down and talk and we talked about this character. I know this character who he’s talking about because I was [a] heel. This guy whose had to fight for everything.”

“The character that he explained to me is very close, very similar to [the guy I am]. He brought it up ‘this is the way you need to be. You’re not the tallest guy, you’re not the biggest guy, but you’re a pit bull.’ I know that guy, I could be that guy.”
