Recently on Sam Roberts' Wrestling Podcast, MVP discussed a number of topics including wanting to start a hardcore band, Vince Mcmahon and his TNA's run.

"There is no competition and I don't need that to sound mean or to take the piss out of [Indies, NJPW, TNA etc..], but WWE has no competition. You can have alternatives to [WWE], but there is no competition whatsoever."

On TNA, MVP continued "in my opinion, certain people in managerial roles at TNA leave a lot to be desired and that's the reason TNA is in the situation it's in right now. They've been around for 13 years. At this point, they should be a solid secondary alternative to WWE [and] well in the black, but they're not."

MVP Also talked about Vince cleaning out the locker room of Beer, although MVP credited McMahon for ridding WWE of much of the drug and alcohol abuse backstage, he said it was for business reasons more than anything else.

"There's no beer in the locker room now. Now, there [are] protein shakes. There [has] been an evolution and I have to give Vince McMahon credit for cleaning that up because that was a scourge. That was a huge problem and I've got a lot of colleagues and a few friends that have died from drug abuse, specifically, in the [professional wrestling] industry. "

"And Vince McMahon, WWE, being a leader in that industry kind of led the way of saying, 'well, okay, we need to clean this up', but let me be clear, Vince didn't do it because he's some beneficent [person], like, 'hey, I want to spend all this money because I really want to help these people out'. It's my take that because Vince went through all this bulls--t before with the steroid trial, the Feds, and Congress started talking, he was proactive. He said, 'okay, because I am the leader, they're going to hang me out to dry, so let me go ahead and set the precedent. I've been through this' and Vince is a mad genius, so he knows what he's doing and they took the necessary precautions, especially as a corporate entity with shareholders, he had to take certain measures to protect his business interests and that's what he did and in the long run, it's going to save a lot of lives."

No more beer. Must really suck. :frown2::frown2:

Football players used to come in at half time and neck a couple of shots a or a beer. There were 12 players in a squad and 11 on the pitch all season. They played the same number of games today if not more. Society is so pussified these days. Honestly there's probably stuff in that protein shake that is 100 times worse for your body than malt and hops....
