The "Internet Wrestling Crowd" or whatever you wanna call it, is I'd say 99% of the WWE Universe. The internet is no longer just a place for 'geeks', and the sooner WWE realises this the better.

If people are going online to find out more information about your product, they're interested in it. They need to capitalise instead of fighting what already is.

As for crowds, they are generally smarter these days. Though, you can tell whenever they are presented with something that they actually enjoy, they react accordingly.
