Ffs, talk talk talk, he can talk as much as he wants, but unless you book him to make good on his threats/promises, then it really is just a bunch of worthless babble!
Besides which Bray shouldn't give a fuck about winning the rumble, his character should have a more important goal in mind, he's a character where you don't need to throw him a belt for people to take him seriously, I'm not saying he should be "above" the title necessarily, but he should be booked in a way that makes him seem like a threat to anyone, including the champion!
I get that all heels get their comeuppance sooner or later, but they need to win here and there too so that way it actually seems like there's a chance the good guy won't come through in the end, which makes the inevitable prevailing of good over evil all the more dramatic and effective! You can have Bray beat all the midcarders you want, unless he goes over someone that the fans actually take seriously, no one's gonna buy into what he says or even care.
I love Bray as a talent don't get me wrong, but his character is dead to me, it's just the same ole, same ole booking with him, talk a bunch, then lose! He needs big wins to prove that he means business, otherwise as I have said before he's just all talk and no action.
