Did we just witness the worst ending of raw in history?

Maybe not quite but the show overall lacked... Didn't really do much to hype SS this Sunday and with that awful close between the two divas..... Sighs... I almost might give them props for trying to highlight the divas in the main segment but not on the go home before a ppv! Clearly trying to cash in on Ronda atm

Hoping for a Sharpshooter style finish this weekend if you catch my drift

Don't get me wrong there was two above average matches on the card but its hard to look past that when you already know the outcomes!

That might be worse, but you can't say it's not close.. Both segments were absolutely terrible.. Maybe now WWE will realize the woman shouldn't main-event any of their main shows.. It's special on NXT, let them main-event there.

I guess it's the only actual title match which is confirmed right now so it made sense to highlight it, i was quite happy to see the divas close the show.

The segment overall was ok (for me personally anyway), the brawl afterwards was (reasonably) good. It was brought down by Charlotte's generic as hell babyface promo though.

This segment was pretty damn good.

Sometimes you people would complain for absolutely anything. The segment was so good that Charlotte finally impressed me. These two have a great chemistry, this promo was emotional and well made, because Paige and Charlotte are fucking awesome on the microphone and i can listen to them argue on a dailyyyy.

It was a GOOD main event despite being held by two divas.

This is such a tiresome claim and mentality.

Option a) "These people" complain for absolutely nothing. They experience things the same way you do but for no sane reason complain 'for the sake of complaining' or, worse still, 'because it's the cool thing to do'. That's one possibility.

Option b) The specific individuals in this thread do not share your perspective on the segment - you liked it but they didn't. As a result, they're expressing their personal experience and opinion on this discussion forum.

If you ever see people utter the words "because it's the cool thing to do" or "just for the sake of complaining" you can near guarantee that somebody has a really hard time understanding other people's perspectives/motivations and just paints them in this patronising way.

Unless you've spotted the same individuals in this thread as other times, there's no "you people". You are "you people" to everyone but you - that means 99.99999% of this forum see you as "this forum". Yes that's insultingly basic logic but it's not common sense because it's depressingly rare to see this understood.

That has nothing to do with it. The delivery from both women was awkward, the build up has been lackluster, neither of them are that over with the fans, and exploiting a death to get heat. It had its moments, and I wouldn't say it was the worst ending in RAW history, but it was bad.

Charlotte is awful on the microphone. I mean really awful. I've seen enough evidence now to know the only people who give a shit about the divas are smarks. And the only live locations that care will be smark locations. Casual fans are bored out of their minds. The term "piss break" probably originates from non smark locations. And I'm sorry but they're just not good enough either to hold people's attentions. If they were entertaining, exciting, and worth investing in the casual fans will care. You can't blame sexism or misogyny every week. Not every person alive is a misogynist. They just flat out suck. They are boring. Most of them overrated. So if you think about it, why should anyone care? Why is it a surprise when they don't?

Granting this was a truly horrible segment. Especially the Charlotte parts. But I would not mail it in on all the Divas because of things like this. Fans are obviously invested in Sasha. So far the E is merely doing their old act of betting on a losing horse.

A decently written Paige vs Sasha show ender would likely have gotten a significantly more positive reaction. Not to mention been a lot more captivating to watch. Charlotte's negative mic skills and complete lack of personality drag down everything she is involved in.

The segment was awkward and poorly delivered by Charlotte but it was nowhere near the worst. People are only overreacting because it was the Divas in the final segment (which to be fair shouldn't have been the case).

Nah I am sorry mate ^. Wrestling fans in general to complain for the sake of it. IT was not the worst segment, it was actually one of the strongest diva segments in a while. Charlotte was pretty bad on the mic, but Paige is killing the heel role atm.

I loved it, personally. I know i'm in the minority on this because people just love to be outraged, even @ a Wrestling #HeelMoment ffs... but I like the passion and the fact that they went there.

Just so long as they don't tank the actual match in response. Make it into some type of Charlotte squash or some shit. Knock down, drag out, 15-20 minute epic. Build on the promo and let them fly. Lets see what they can do on the big stage. Lets see moves out of the girls we haven't seen since NXT. If not, the promo was a waste of time and effort.

There is one critique I would have and thats Charlotte's vocals. She has a tendency to drop into this weird vocal habit(start of the promo, some near the end) where every sentence is given with an incantation as if the next act is her breaking out in tears. When she talks clearly and succinctly(middle) she's not bad, but whenever she drops into that faux-emotion mode, its just a #facepalm moment.
