do you care about seniority in WWE or it doesnt matter at all?

i mean, if a new really good superstar comes to WWE will you mark for him to become WWE champion or would you rather see the more "veterans" getting the oportunity like Ambrose, Cesaro and many others?

Because many fans want Owens, for example, as champion and as good as the guy is, he is still very new in the main roster.

what do you think?

I don't give a fuck at all. Bo Dallas is (I believe) the youngest male on the main roster. Should he get a world title reign just because he's the youngest? If the older dudes are the ones who are going to bring in viewers, sell merchandise and be entertaining in general, by all means give them a push.

Seniority doesn't matter. Would you rather Goldust be Champion or Kevin Owens? It's a no brainer. Some people just scream instant main eventer, and some scream lifetime jobber. "I'VE BEEN MEDIOCRE LONGER THAN YOU'VE BEEN GREAT!" isn't a good argument to justify being the World Champion.

Two replies in and I have nothing more to add to be honest. Owens may be new in the main roster, but he has more experience than most of other guys.

I take it on a case by case basis.

Talent matters over age any day of the week.

Each wrestlers' credentials need to be judged on an individual basis. A lifetime jobber with all the experience in the world isn't going to world champion, and most fans wouldn't expect that.

Owens for example has spent over a decade perfecting his craft and character and most fans know what he's about and rightfully so, want him pushed, regardless of how much time he's been on the main roster or how quickly he made it there in WWE.

Owens was just an example, with that being said do you prefer Owens instead of Cesaro or Ambrose, guys that have been waiting longer for the oportunity?

Re: do you care about seniority in WWE or it doesnt matter at all?

Owens has a couple months experience in the big leagues that's what really matters. WWE ain't the indies, as he's learning more and more each week with his mediocre crowd response.

Seniority matters more so in the locker room than on screen, though. It's why a shit worker like JBL got the opportunity to become a main eventer over night and then hold the belt for a year.

For me, its talent and ability over age.

Re: do you care about seniority in WWE or it doesnt matter at all?

It doesn't matter, it's who fits at the time, as I mentioned in an earlier response, I think people think it matters more than it does, it's not as important as what you think, it's what's right, or at least what feels right to you.

For example, I love Dean and I love Kevin Owens, Dean has been on the roster longer than Owens and has worked his ass off, but do I feel he should have the title now, no, I feel Kevin Owens should, and why .... for reasons explained here :

I think he'd pick up perfectly where Seth left off, except he could be more of a lone ranger as opposed to lining with the authority, cause he fights for himself, not for them ... which could frustrate them in the storyline too, Owens knows what to say, when to say, he's such a natural and him having the title to pick up where Seth left off, I feel personally, would be the best fit and that he would carry it well.

Sure, we can say he'd need to drop the IC title first ... but then again, would he? .... I think this could play to his character and boost him up more, he's a prize fighter after all and he's proved it by winning all the titles, then of course someone can come in and annihilate him for the IC or something, Sheamus maybe (even if they are both heels), I think Owens really would be the absolute best choice to continue where Seth left off ... but from a different angle, yet still keeping the same feel of a heel with the title.

It's the best choice right now and this whole thing about how long a talent has been on the WWE roster, isn't as important as some people think.
I do feel that Dean should have a title reign at some point, but right now, Owens is the right fit to pick up where Seth left off, and that's what it is basically, plus I think he'll carry it well.

How long they've been on the roster isn't really that important, there are talents that are on there, that's been on years that you'd still say, not really, in regards to them having the title, it's about the timing and the right fit basically.

That's my feelings on it anyway.

Don't worry Heff, we can still have a nice Thanksgiving. I bought us a nice big vegetarian turkey. It'll be delicious!
