Re: Is Pedigree the reason behind Knee injuries ?
Triple H had issues because of his steroid abuse. Common injury for people gassed to the gills. Seths injury is because of his insufficient training techniques mixed with his higher impact moves, not the pedigree.
The style he trains is not right for what he is doing. Mix that in with his sloppy technique on major movements like squats, cleans, and snatches. Pile that on with high risk moves, and that's what lead to his knee injury.
I'm not saying this to knock him, I love the guy. And before anyone knocks me, I am a highly qualified trainer and can review and critique his form and training style objectively. His form on the three mentioned lifts is mediocre at best, and needs work. The style he trains also stresses the body with improper planning. Over time, sloppy technique, bad training style and high risk moves caught up with him.
This is why the issue is complex because it's from a number of factors.
If he were to change his style, reassess and work on his form on those big lifts, he'd still be able to perform those moves, but without the stresses of sloppy training and improper technique.
His style is still very high impact, so there will still be a risk, but changing other aspects of his life, mainly his program, will reduce that risk.
It is not the pedigree.
