Two choices - Roman or Transitional Champ(maybe DB?)

I've said since they announced it that Roman was winning the title at SvS. Everything seemed to line up. Granted, they were playing the 'could be, could be not' game and it probably would have been a gameday decision by Vince, but Roman beating Rollins to start his Reign was the best option.

Now that that has been tossed out the window with Rollins' injury, a transitional champ option has come into play. Since the endgame was obviously a Shield Triple Threat @ Mania to end that story, with Rollins possibly not even making it, a transitional champ until January may be in order to put off the crowning until it can be determined if Rollins will heal fast enough to be available for Mania. If he can't make it, needless to say they'll need to adjust plans.

Now, a lot of people have been thinking Shaemus. But there is another name I haven't seen mentioned that i'll throw out there.

What about Daniel Bryan? Can you think of a better way for him to come back? Unlike his late 2014 return, he's pretty cold now. Who better than Daniel Bryan to make a surprise return at SvS and find some way, any way, to win the title? Obviously its a transitional reign, but what a transitional reign. Plus it makes sure he isn't in the Rumble and is instead defending the title @ the Rumble. My feeling is if Rollins ISN'T going to be available for WM32, you have Reigns go Donkey Kong on Bryan at Rumble to turn heel in order to face Ambrose(with a possible Bryan add) for the title(Ambrose would probably win it in that scenario for the happy ending). Otherwise, Reigns wins as a face and heads to the Shield Triple Threat and successfully defends the title.

Daniel Bryan also has history with Roman, so he gets a win back for Fast Lane and he gets to be the direct cause of Roman getting denied yet again. It would certainly be a lot more interesting than Shaemus vs Roman.

They are going to give it to Reigns sooner or later, and he's going to continue to be protected like hell until they do. I say just give him the belt and get it over with. Honestly, let's just see if he sinks or swims as champ.

If Bryan were cleared, he would be best for business and Roman could still have his Mania moment. I dont foresee this happening. Get ready for Sheamus to be standing tall at the end of Survivor Series.

I agree, No Bryan... seen it already. Give it to Miz rather then someone like him! It would be refreshing...

I could see Del Rio or Cena end up winning it... Maybe even HHH?

Come to think about it now.. We have

Cena
Orton
Rollins
Bryan
Sting

All on the shelf

As much as I'd like it to be Bryan, I'd prefer it to be Reigns tbh. Mainly just to get his title run out of the way now.

Re: Two choices - Roman or Transitional Champ(maybe DB?)

Who better than Daniel Bryan?.. Half the roster at this point. After his last couple injuries he probably won't be champion again, mid-card or WWE Champion.. I'm sure they're tired of titles being vacant. They gave him a run with the IC Title because they felt he would get hurt again if he was in the main title picture, and they were right, so he had to vacant another title, the IC Title... He'll be lucky if he competes in WWE ever again.. If he comes back the best thing to do is leave him out of the title picture. He can still be relevant and a huge part of the show without being champion.

I'm not convinced Reigns is ready.

I never thought I'd say this because I've actively disliked the guy from his debut, but fuck it, I'd go with Bray Wyatt. After this whole absorbing Taker & Kane's soul thing, he genuinely has a claim to the most dominant force in WWE. It just makes sense to put the strap on him for me. With the backing of the Wyatt family he can be this dominant force, a different flavour of champ to Rollins, but an interesting one.

I like Wyatt as a choice, although they would need to scuttle the ACTUAL Survivor Series if they were to go that direction. And I don't see that if the rumored Wyatt Family vs Brothers of Destruction + 2 is to happen.

As per the 2, I would go with...

Sting if he's healthy enough. The actual SvS is setup in a way they can really limit his action.

And the 4th guy? Being this is the 25th anniversary of Undertaker's debut... I'd bring up Finn Balor for his debut with full batshit nuts entrance + makeup. People would lose their shit, and it would be an awesome debut(even if he heads back to NXT after its done) and a great rub to work with Undertaker + Kane + Sting in your first WWE PPV match.

Re: Two choices - Roman or Transitional Champ(maybe DB?)

Just give it to Lesnar. They can afford to do the part-time champion thing for 4-5 months in my opinion. He drops it at Wrestlemania of course.

And besides that, if they wanna make Reigns the top guy, I wouldn't be giving him his first title win and "big" moment by beating a bunch of losers in a tournament.
