I love how everyone basically agrees WWE is shit but when CM Punk says anything bad about it, everyone starts white knighting the E and crapping on Punk :lmao

So many entitled pricks on the internet.

This is exactly what I would say, and worse if somebody basically told me I wasn't "allowed" to quit my job, because I owe it to him to dance for his entertainment. And for reasons I've gone over 100 times, it was by no means him just throwing a fit and quitting, a lot of things went into it and it was perfectly justified.

The funniest thing about it is that the only people who get on his ass for quitting are the people who already hated him and wanted him gone. He did you a FAVOR and you even manage to hold him giving you what you WANT against him. That's like me going "how dare Roman Reigns quit WWE! Fuck him!".

It is sad as fuck that CM Punk, a human being like anyone else, gets harassed by people online because he dared to be unhappy with the company that employed him and decided to leave. Its really fucking pathetic. The fact that this still happens, or actually the fact that it happened at all, is goddamned depressing.

Let the man live his life, fuck.

He wasn't wrong though? It was a stupid comment tweeted at him (so it's not like he was looking up his name to see if someone was talking shit) and he responded.

Its a bit of a dumb question since he's been a Cubs fan since he was a little kid.

Such hostility from CM Punk, clearly a byproduct of his Chicago Cubs fandom.

Join the side of light, CM Punk. Become a Mets fan like I am. You already threw the first pitch out for the METS while wearing their uni! :mark:

The Cubs are his hometown team and he'll support them no matter what. People need to let it go, Punk will never ever come back and doesn't need to see or be told about a company he left.

They're two faced. On one hand they constantly criticize the product, the incompetent booking, and in many cases the bosses themselves, but when someone (who was a favorite of many if not most of the people who now give him so much shit) dares to speak his mind about said company in a less than positive manner, then that makes him a bad person.

Look, I understand that he's not the easiest person to get along with, he himself admits that. But I find it pathetic how so many people go out of their way to give him a hard time just to get a reaction out of him. Let the man live his life, he hasn't done anything to hurt you.

It's 2015, and dumbasses are still butthurt over Punk leaving.

For fuck sakes people, GET OVER IT. It's been nearly two years now. He's moved on, and you should too, instead of spamming his twitter calling him a "quieter," despite the fact he was actually fired on his damn wedding day.

Punk had every right to respond the way he did.

Punk DID quit. He walked out on the company. He was under contract, however, so he was still employed. Otherwise, he most definitely quit in every possible way. And WWE had every right to fire him. I don't think I agree with them doing it on his wedding day, I personally would have fired him a lot sooner, but none the less, they were paying him for doing nothing. It needed to happen at some point.

With that said, I don't really blame him for quitting. And I don't blame him for the response he gave to the idiot who tweeted him this.
