The Bitterness, Excuses and Revolutions

[Please try to have civil conversations below. Don't turn this into a hate thread. I know I'm asking for a lot but at least try]

Sooner or later WWE is gonna realize that not everyone in their fanbase is a drooling idiot that just takes every little thing they give us.
It feels like shit has completely hit the fan now, considering that Nikki Bella has surpassed AJ Lee's Diva's title reign. I guess in the wake of AJ Lee's departure, things went downhill fast. Creative writing some storyline with Paige and Nikki Bella. Paige going into her inner MLK, Obama, and CM Punk (2012) wanting "change" in the Divas Division. Leading Paige into losing to Nikki in every PPV. What seemed like the 57th time that Paige had lost to her, the plan goes into motion for the "Diva's Revolution" with not 1, not 2, but 3 of the top Divas from NXT being announced onto the main roster. Putting them into teams a of three. This is were it really gets stupid. Random 3 v 3s, 2 v 2s, even in the last 2 PPVs the Divas title wasn't even on the line. Why? This is where it hit me, this really wasn't a revolution by any means. Nikki hardly did anything that involved the title in the past couple of months. What's the point of having this "revolution" if you're not going to do anything to revolutionize it? You have someone like Sasha Banks, who has everything going for her and they use her to just beat Paige consistently with no real story to follow it. I really want to like the Diva's Division, I really do, Kana is coming up soon and I'm hyped for that but I want things done right. I guess if you leave the company too suddenly, they look for excuses to scrub your name away. I mean it's not like AJ Lee got a fucking plaque in her name for being the longest title holder of the Diva's championship. I'm not saying that Nikki is the worst diva ever, I mean there are other divas in the WWE that surpass her in awfulness. Everything just smelled of pure bitterness, and whether you agree with me or not, I can't ignore the series of events that happened after AJ Lee's sudden leave. I will say I am happy for her though, she's chilling in Chicago with her husband, good for her. Meanwhile, we have a 3 ring circus going on in the Divas Division, with clusterfuck matches that become just hard to watch at times. At least the Sasha v Paige matches are entertaining, even if they don't really serve too much of a purpose to anything.

Re: The Bitterness, Excuses and Revolutions

The backstage drama really tainted something that could have been an actual cool storyline with these women.

You got John Cena's GF holding the belt and Punk's wife holding the longest title reign so what did you think was going to happen? Obviously those things have priority over the women that the fans actually wanted to see.

Hopefully now that Nikki is the longest reigning champion, she can fuck off and we can get the divas revolution that we were promised 3 months ago

They know that they have to get the Bellas out of there. They can do literally nothing with them from a creative standpoint. That's why it'll be interesting to see what happens once Nikki loses. There's no reason at all to keep the Bellas in a prominent role, but if they do you can be certain why.

Re: The Bitterness, Excuses and Revolutions

Last night's match and finish wasn't really that bad, it could have been much, much worse. The problem was with the build, where Nikki flip flopped from heel to face worse than Big Show. Had she consistently played along as heel the entire time since winning the belt, then last night, and presumably whenever she drops the title, would have considerably more payoff.

Re: The Bitterness, Excuses and Revolutions

Agreed OP. Politics killed the revolution. First you've got them salty as hell at AJ for (rightfully) walking on them, then you've got Stephanie with some serious complex where absolutely everything has to involve her. The revolution was ruined the second she started calling divas out, putting them in teams and they all stood and accepted it like good little students. Then they started fighting each other for no reason as Nikki chilled with the title not defending it for 3 months.

Now watch how they try to save this flopping division by putting the title on Charlotte on sunday, we'll be told it's a new era, time for change, same old shit. Within a few weeks we'll be back to the same format and 2 minute matches again.

Keep in mind they also made their Dr start this lawsuit against Punk in another dopey attempt to get even. They're so amazingly butthurt at the way he humiliated them.

LOL at people who think the WWE will get better once Vince dies. You'll have to deal with HHH and Stephanie.

Re: The Bitterness, Excuses and Revolutions

The only people who get a kick out of this are the ones fervently engaged in WF's Waifu Wars. Meanwhile, people like me, who actually want to see the division flourish and be respectable, instead of having the Divas taking turns holding the title for 300+ days with nothing of consequence or relevance happen, look at this Revolution as nothing but repellent from SJW's who'd cry and bemoan about how the women don't get treated with respect, which leads to them being treated as something worse, puppets for a crooked agenda.

Re: The Bitterness, Excuses and Revolutions

The irony of all of this is that it's brought the Sasha and Paige fans closer together because we all realize how stupid it is to waste these two on heatless matches.

I know HHH has a huge ego, but I feel he would be fine in that role.

It's Stephanie I worry about. She is the one behind this entire divas angle, and look at how fantastic that turned out. God help us and everybody in the company if she gets her hands on more storylines and wrestlers.
