Re: Match of the Night for Hell in a Cell 2019

Before the main event fuckery I was actually surprised at how much I was enjoying this show.

Sasha and Becky busted their asses in the match of the night and actually found creative, new ways to exploit the Cell match which is almost impossible in the PG era after decades of HIAC.

Reigns/Bryan vs. Harper/Rowan was far better and brutal than I was expecting. It had a main event feel, which is something I never thought I'd say about a tag match involving the former Bludgeon Brothers.

I think the most impressive part of the show was how a couple of the matches that were announced the day of the show and probably put together shortly before air time ended up exceeding expectations.

The Kabuki Warriors vs. Bliss/Cross told a great story, had strong chemistry among all four participants and had a pretty shocking ending. Plus, I've been a fan of the green mist since I first saw Muta use it back in 1990. I loved it.

It showed that the person most surprised by the match quality in the Ali vs. Orton match was Orton himself. Ali was giving this his all, Orton quickly realized it and really picked up his game. It brought out possibly the rarest creature in modern pro wrestling: An inspired Randy Orton.

Not removing until (X ) Ric Flair shows up on TV stone sober.(It looks like he did it. Good for you Naitch

I begin to think, that a calm is not desirable in any situation in life....Man was made for action and for bustle too, I believe - Abigail Adams

Was Bryan & Reigns vs Harper & Rowan a figment of my imagination?
Agree, no way was that Orton match men's motn, that tag match with Bryan and Orton was very good. Sadly no one is really talking about, maybe a sleeper hit of the past few weeks.

Becky vs Sasha, Becky delivering another fantastic match. She's been on a great run since being separated from Lacey (who she carried to decent matches), giving Nattie her best match in years/ever, having two MOTN with Sasha on PPV with one being MOTYC, and having the 2nd best MR women's match of the year earlier against Asuka. Not a bad year and can get better, if only she wasn't stuck selling a fake knee injury for 2 months and wrestling a rookie for 3.

The opener, Becky v Sasha. Both competitors were excellent, Sasha had the crowd in the palm of her hand and Becky did too. Brutal stuff in parts and very believable. Just great stuff.

Best thing from Sasha I've seen in a long time, Becky continues to bring it.

Charlotte/Bayley? Clearly you're trolling.

Nah if I was trolling I would have said Corbin/Gable. As a Charlotte fan, I enjoyed Charlotte/Bayley with her winning #10. Woooooo!!

That poll is weird, The Tornado Tag match was better than Seth/Wyatt.
