Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental Champion vs. United States Champion)

Quote:
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins faces off against United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in what promises to be an instant classic at Survivor Series, the one night a year when Raw and SmackDown LIVE compete in head-to-head competition.

Not only will this mark the first encounter between The Kingslayer and The King of Strong Style, but the battle will also determine which brand and which champion truly reign supreme. Since recapturing the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, Seth Rollins has been hellbent on restoring the prestige behind the “workhorse title.” Over on the blue brand, Nakamura has been busy ushering in a new era for the prestigious star-spangled title.

Although each champion represents the best of the best on his brand, who reps their brand the strongest? Find out when this Champion vs. Champion non-title bout goes down at Survivor Series, Sunday, Nov. 17, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

Wouldn't be surprised if this exceeds the quality of the AJ-Nak matches

I think Nakamura is winning this with help from Ambrose.

An even lazier Nakamura than ever before vs A Mediocre Seth Rollins? This should be fun

Edit: To add more to this, I have idea why either of these still have their respective titles. Nakamura really shouldn't have any title and Seth really should be moving on and has out grown the Intercontinental title IMO. Nevertheless, it's a big name in terms of name but doesn't look appealing at all.

All Time Favourites:
Kazuchika Okada, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, Toshiaki Kawada, Daniel Bryan, Kensuke Sasaki & Shinya Hashimoto

I write things sometimes. Always Wrestling related, obviously.

Re: Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (IC Champion vs. US Champion)

This will be Nakamura's best match. Or at least it should be. If he can't have a good match with Rollins, then he's definitely lazy. If this was a hotly debuting Nakamura, I'd be all over this match. However, ever since his debut he's been vastly underwhelming, so it's hard to get hyped over this. Not to mention both guys have been having title reigns that sadly aren't really there.

I for sure think this will blow the AJ matches out of the water. Just depends on how much time they get. The crowd should be hot for it, either way.

When you put Nak in with the right people (AJ, Balor, Sami, etc.), he can put on a showstopper. He's the heel here though, so in a WWE match Seth is guaranteed to get more offense in. Rollins is the right people. But if you don't think much of these guys' work quality, you may as well pass on this match and watch something else. We may not get this opportunity to see this match again so I'm going to be looking forward to it.

I'll be very interested to see how the styles mesh here, if neither loses their title before the show. Because after last year, you never know.

On paper it sounds like a cool match, but Nakamura had under delivered several times. And some times that comes down to booking but others it's just uninspired performances by Nakamura.

Me personally, this is the perfect show opener to have a hot crowd to see if they can flow with each other.

Another match that should deliver. But this is WWE so we'll see.

Yeah, I'd like to see this as a hot open. I really hope Nakamura doesn't phone it in again, this legitimately could be his best match since joining the main roster. I want to see both of these guys with a huge chip on their shoulders put on a barnburner. It's Nakamura's chance to prove he can still deliver.

I expect Deano to cost Seth the match of course, but hopefully it isn't too short that they can't get anything going. A lot of Nakamura's matches have felt like that, or got going too late like with his matches with AJ.
