Bringing the Alan Moore incarnation to life

After the amazing Doom Patrol and very good Titans, I am so ready for this.

It's almost time!

Re: Swamp Thing (DC Universe Series)

Love the feel of the show, preferred the practical effects over the CGI, but none of it looked bad. I think they did a fairly good job of establishing Alec and Abby's relationship and getting you to care about Alec in the short time they had. I think it helped that the actor playing Holland was a likable dude.

Re: Swamp Thing (DC Universe Series)

Just finished Episode 1 of Swamp Thing and if the Trailer didn't give away enough the vibe DC was going with this, you find out really quickly this isn't Titans nor Doom Patrol which I liked seeing watching this. Terrifying enough and OH MY GOD that ending.

Fantastic first episode. I loved the pacing and the horror.

Re: Swamp Thing (DC Universe Series)

Was good stuff. I just boggles me how the DC Universe shows could have this level of quality and the CW ones are cheap to look at and have such lame writing.

Re: Swamp Thing (DC Universe Series)

Seriously though, who shoots a TV series in cinemascope ?

I got the first episode, but I'll probably wait for the season to be over to start watching.

Re: Swamp Thing (DC Universe Series)

Ok, so the reason that the show is cancelled is that WB thought it was getting a tax rebate from NC. This was due to an error in paperwork. When they corrected it, they found that they weren't getting the rebate and as such the show was costing far more then WB could afford for it.
