The Jungle Book was great, I don't see this as being much different minus Mowgli. One would question the need for live action with no human characters but photrealistic animals on real backdrops has been shown to work.

Re: The Lion King to be remade into a live action movie

Surprisingly, I don't have an issue with this. Animation -> Live-Action or Live-Action -> Animation remakes don't bother me as long as they're done well. They're both different enough to me that the remakes will feel and look different anyway.

In about 15-20 years or so I can see Frozen joining in this ongoing Remake-train.

They'll probably do so sooner. Strike while the iron is hot because it's still hot.

I loved Favreau's Jungle Book so much that I'm never going to complain about a Disney live adaptation again before seeing it.
