Re: Game Of Thrones season 8

Im not expecting a ending that will leave me fullfilled with every character. Dont think it will happen.
But with the last episode being just incredible and a emotional rollercoaster I can forgive them for not being picture perfect in the end. And its not that many characters left to work with. I do think I have a pretty good idea to who will end up on the throne.

Hold on, that was their litmus test? knowing about the at the time most popular and easy to guess mystery from the books? I mean, just by reading ACoK one could more or less predict the general gist of the Red Wedding.
A better test would've been asking them something along the lines of "Who's Gormon Peake" "Who's the bastard of Braavos" or "Why are there two branches of House Fossoway". Now THAT's super nerdy stuff only a real fan would know. Besides:

This. Though not even this can warrant results. Even the most reputed of names fuck up big time sometimes.

I have the Battle of Castle Black cued up in VLC ready and waiting to help me forget how much of a shitstorm this finale will be.

S1-3 was epic in many ways, but S4 is the one I enjoy watching the most by far.

The rest were true, so unless it's a Russo level swerve to lie to people about the end we're in for something special. And I don't mean special in a good way.

What is funny/curious is that the two-headed dragon of "D&D" probably had some sort of relationship established with Sean Bean from Troy. Bean played Odysseus so well that I wanted to see a well-adapted version The Odyssey. And honestly, Bean as Ned Stark was probably the single "most perfect" casting in the entire series for a major character.

@AryaDark; I want to watch those videos you posted on Dany/Cersei as well as Barristan Selmy!

Also, if Emilia Clarke was rooting for the Houston Floppets in Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors, it does not matter how charming she seems to be. I will be cheering on Jon Snow or anyone else in slaying that wicked, wicked monster. "DraCurrys."

Re: Game Of Thrones season 8

I'm almost too scared to watch tonight. I honestly don't care if she's the mad queen, I've come too far with her to not see her end up on the iron throne.

For eight years I've followed Dany on her quest to regain what was taken from her family. That's far too long and far to see her die now and to see the throne vacated.

Spoiler for possible spoilers:
Especially for some kind of lame United Westeros round table.
