Yes for the last time when one of the biggest communities that discuss a series (maybe the biggest) is adverse to criticism it's going to let a show get away with more shitty writing. That doesn't mean the show is bad, just that it allows a bad show to be called out less for its bad aspects. There are subs dedicated to series I love that are praised by most critics yet the communities are still adverse to most of the criticism that pops up there even though it's rare. So again a sub isn't a reflection of the series and I've explained how I never made that claim in the first place. You're the one trying to extrapolate that from what I said even though I've always mentioned my actual problems with the episodes when complaining about them in this thread. Work on your reading comprehension ffs.
You are the one extrapolating from people liking the episode you dislike into allowing a show to get away with shitty writing. You are the one that is doing the same by conflating liking the show = being adverse to criticism. On the one hand you are claiming one of the biggest communities to discuss the series is going to affect the show, yet on the other hand you are claiming they aren't a reflection of the show.
You don't even know what posts I'm referring to, that's the level of arrogance you're showing. One of the subs had to create a weekly thread for unpopular opinions because the circle-jerking got so bad and even then the running joke among the community is that you have to sort comments by controversial just to see the actual unpopular opinions because they even get downvoted in that thread. I seem to be searching for a hateful circle-jerk?... Yet another assumption you pulled from your ass. WF is the one place I discuss GOT these days and it happens to be in one of the misc sections of a fucking wrestling forum I joined in 2016. There's at least one sub I know of that was made for mocking GOT if I just wanted to post in an echo chamber. There are back and forth discussions that go on here about the show's quality whether you want to admit it or not. The consensus is that it's bad but the minority opinion isn't drowned out here especially to the degree it would be on reddit. I never denied that I was generalising so that isn't a gotcha and generalisations can be accurate. Where there's smoke there's fire and reddit has a circle-jerk reputation for a reason. Those mixed reactions (for the third fucking time) were in regards to other parts of the internet which I brought up because you said the rest of the internet was a circle-jerk in the opposite direction from reddit in regards to GOT. I made that clear the first time let alone the third time now. I fully expect you to pretend I was talking about reddit when saying that for the fourth time though because that's one of your tactics when you can't refute a point.
Yes, you are looking for the circle jerking to hate on the show and felt the need to whine about it when there isn't a bigger one in the biggest sub reddit for the show. You claimed the reddit thread is sucking off the episode just because not everyone hated it. Yes I will still stick to it because even on reddit it wasn't as you said, sucking them off. You said you see more mixed reactions elsewhere, ergo admitting there were enough mixed reactions on reddit as well.
Are you going to admit to misreading my post again since you were originally getting on my case for supposedly bitching about negs that I never even got in the first place or would it be too embarrassing to admit you were wrong a second time? That wasn't my motive which is why I pointed out that I've only been repped twice for being critical about the show and one of those posts wasn't critical so much as expressing mild disappointment for something I was hoping for. Do you read posts with your peripheral vision or is your comprehension really this bad? This all started with you quoting my post shitting on reddit so of course I'm going to go into my issues with it as a platform for discussion. It's a circle-jerk but there's systemic reasons for that which I explained. I love how you act like it's not relevant and I moved the goal posts when you were the one who asked me why I shit on it to begin with genius. This is tedious and you don't argue in good faith so I'm done trying to refute your assumptions when you don't have anything to back them up in the first place outside of your self-assured arrogance.
Lol that was me being condescending. You quoting the guy about haters implied to me that you think being called a hater means the other person is only using it to deflates any point you make. Also, aren't you doing the same thing by equating enjoying the episode as people being fanboys?
The original point was that hating on someone liking something you hate is silly. You replied that it is valid because fanboys ruin the writing of the show. Which I reply with the same point, it is dumb to hate on people liking stuff. Hopefully the next thing you like doesn't developing into something bigger so other people can't ruin it like they ruin GoT for you.
