I'd say Jon has the best odds.

Which I have mixed feelings about. Predictability aside, if he gets it and virtually everyone else is dead, leaving him alone and miserable I'm fine with it. But if it's him Arya, Tyrion, Sansa, Davos, and a litany of others having a Return of the Jedi-esque party in King's Landing it's gonna be pretty lame.

I've said for a while if Tyrion doesn't die the shows not over, but I'm not convinced D&D will have the heart to kill him, although George certainly would

I dunno I'd marry Sophie Turner in a heart beat but the Sansa character has annoyed me for a good while now

Jon getting it would be cool, I guess. I feel like he's destined to die for real this time.

I hated Sansa during the first season up until Ol Ned lost his head, at which point she became one of my favourites. I'd like to see her win after all she has been through.

As long as Danny doesn't win, I'm cool with whoever
I've HATED her ever since she got Drogo killed, and bored the living shit out of me nearly every time she's on screen.

I think a lot of people feel that way

Hell I'd rather have lolCerseiwins than Dany

But Jamie has to kill her to finish his arch.

It's a tough call because there are so many characters left and so many possible directions to go in, but with D&D getting really fan-fictiony with it I think they'll have Jon win.

Which again I wouldn't mind Jon provided certain other things happen as well, mainly Dany going crazy and Jon has to kill her and him finally getting the Stark name only to have all the other Starks die.

I LOVE your Lyanna Mormont Warden of the North idea by the way. I hadn't heard or thought of that before but it's PERFECT. That young actress really does steal every scene she's in. Before her only Tywin and The Queen of Thorns had that honor.

Also I don't know if you've read the books but
Spoiler for book spoiler:
I think the reason they haven't killed off Beric yet is he's going to sacrifice himself to bring Jon back to life. It goes down differently in the books but I think they've kept that get out of jail free card in the pocket for a reason.

Yeah, Danny is the worst.

Jon being alone would break my heart, but I'd like to see it play out if they went that way. I haven't read the books, and I want to. But I don't know if I ever will, so at this point I've just been reading TLDR stuff for the books I like that spoiler idea.

Jamie is my favourite character! The epic "There no men like me. Only me" speech got my attention, and made me think maybe there was more to him. Once season 3 hit, and he admitted what he did, and the real reason why, that was it.

I want him to go out a hero, and if that means a little sister killing to do it. Then so be it.

Lyanna came out of nowhere, and became an instant favourite. I think her being the warden would be truly fitting.

Her acting is

Your not alone in that which is exactly why it's gotta happen. This isn't really a spoiler but George has sad the ending has to be very bittersweet, and Jon winning but losing everything in the process is the most bittersweet ending we can get. He is the "Song of Ice and Fire" if you believe the fan theorists.

Jamie is definitely going out a hero. HIS ARCH DEMANDS IT!

And yeah the "by what right does the wolf judge the lion" speech is one of GoT's highlights.

This last season is going to be a wild ride, especially if the body count's as high as it should be.

It's amazing to think there will only be 6 episodes, and it feels like each one will be INSANE.

Even if you think that, don't you agree she's gotta go? If only for narrative reasons.

I think she'll "break the wheel" and bring peace to the seven kingdoms and all the stuff she said she would, but I think, similar to Moses, she leads everyone to the promise land but doesn't get in herself.

She's already starting to lose it, I think she goes full Targaryen and Jon has to kill her, it makes sense and has the bittersweet irony the show needs in a conclusion.

Re: Game Of Thrones season 8

Nah I don't think she'll die in the TV show anyway. At least not before giving birth to Jon's child and I don't see that happening anytime before this battle takes place... maybe we see it in a future glimpse or something...but nah I don't think that's happening.

As for the books I'm not sure yet. We know that GRRM isn't big onto the poetic justice type of thing so who really knows. She's in pretty bad shape the last time we saw her in the books. We'll find out in 20 years I guess.

Here's another good trailer breakdown for those like me that enjoy this stuff.

Anyone but Dany or Jon. Dany has been annoying for way to long. Jon just seems a bit obvious.

Secretly rooting The Night King to win!
