I remember that scene, not only Supergirl kicked Superman's ass, he put her over after that, it was one the most cringeworthy, forced, feminist shit I have ever seen.

Also I found this on TV Tropes. It was on the trope of White Man's Burden

I watched Blind Side before I was into race politics and it still left a bad taste in my mouth. There's another trope that we talk about called the Magic N-word trope and you see it in a fuck ton of movies as well. Some movies pull it off very well (where it isn't completely messed up), but then there are shitfests like The Legend of Bagger Vance which take it to the extreme.

Yes. While Kara has defeated Clark in comics before, this is when Superman thought she was Zod and wasn't holding back. Never mind that Clark has been doing this for years while Kara is new to this. I don't give a rats ass that its her show, she still shouldn't have been able to win that easy. Don't let your character realize she has a long was to go to reach the level of others. That might be character development.

Unfortunately that's the problem with woke female characters now en masse. They're already strong, bad ass and can do everything right out of the womb.

Well that certainly applies to Supergirl. Did she even earn anything on that show? Her job, friends, victories, anything!?

Re: Batwoman series on The CW

There are so many other ways that dialogue could have been worded so as not to take a big steaming shit on Batman and his legacy..
And as well documented in the videos already posted not a lick of what was said or anything she was doing made the slightest bit of sense at all.

If this is the tone the series is going to take, then it's going to be even more WAHH and preachy than Legends and Supergirl have managed (something of an achievement in itself).

CW has as many great casting choices as horrible ones and sometimes it doesn't matter, but Ruby Rose being a cardboard cutout pretending to be an actress isn't going to help.
The only plus point I can find is that at least it's not someone good being ruined by this wokery.

I didn't watch the show and looks like I nailed the character without watching it because it's become such a fucking cliche.

I was thinking of Rey when I said what I said about supergirl.

I guess they're the same character.

Because they're all interchangeable one dimensional clap trap. Nothing compelling about any of them. Might as well watch one for 30 minutes and you've seen everything involving them ever.

Actually Kate Kane is a good character....in the comics. This show certainly isn't going to show it.

Re: Batwoman series on The CW

Oh. Someone just pointed out that they even copied the same thing from Captain Marvel's trailer for Batwoman's trailer.

In captain marvel they changed Hero to Her.
In batwoman they changed Here to Her.

I was talking more of Ruby Rose than Kate. I remember reading some Batwoman stuff in the 90's (Kathy Kane) and that's the character I'm familiar with, not this retconned one.
I'll just ignore the existence of this particular series and avoid any crossover eps of Arrow and Flash if I bother watching any more of them.
