Before the backlash really sets in if JB Smoove is cast as J. Jonah Jameson, keep in mind that JK Simmons was literally the greatest casting possible, and using a second rate version would not be wise. It is good if they go in an entirely different direction.

Spider-Man 2 was great and was better than the first one.

Peter Parker was only in High School for 30 issues of the early comics (which is what Raimi was a fan of) and Maguire played an adult Peter Parker/Spider-Man for that majority of that trilogy, not sure why there's this notion that Peter Parker should only be in High School (or atleast dragging it out longer than necessary).

If its in Europe maybe we'll see Morbius (connection to the Morbius movie).

JB as Jameson sure why not they already ruined Flash Thompson with bad casting.
Two of the biggest issues I had with Homecoming was it's characters and the casting but of course nobody is going to criticize it because it's MCU even though if it was JUST Sony all hell would've broke loose

I dunno man. I've just always associated Peter Parker as, more or less, being a kid. Maybe that's incorrect from the perspective of the comics, but that's just how I see him.

I guess it's because of Ultimate Spider-Man, I don't think he ever left High School in that comic (I stopped reading after they ruined Carnage).

He did when he died if that counts.

I thought Homecoming was aight. Sam Raimi’s movies and The Amazing Spider-Man were better. There’s room for improvement here. I anticipate “Far From Home” to be an overall stronger movie than “Homecoming” with the characters being further established and where the scope is raised.

I prefer Spider-Man to be closer to the Spider-Man I watched on the Saturday morning cartoon that aired on Fox in the 90s. High school age is cool for the journey following the kid growing into a man, but I prefer Peter Parker attending college and working as a photographer at The Daily Bugle.

Agreed. I think Peter Parker worked better as an adult than as a kid.

Agreed with what was said above, Spider-Man 2 was the best movie on the character out of the six they have done so far. I would never, ever have thought I'd see a super-hero arguing with his broke aunt about taking a 20 dollar note or struggling to make a living. It was great to see a movie that was character-driven and not just an action fest. Doc Oc was a cool villain too.

As for this upcoming one, I honestly don't care about Vulture or Mysterio, just bring back this guy and turn him full Scorpion

Why didn't they just bring him back?
