Most people I know who have seen it are the same. They did not like it and regret not watching Hobbs and Shaw or Once Upon a Time In Hollywood instead.

I'm not trying to hate on it for the sake of hating, I'm usually someone who enjoys a move for what it is this was really disappointing and a pretty average movie. I'm just trying to save people some money.

The origin of Pennywise was weak. Doesn't help that the CGI monsters weren't scary, they were damn spiders. I don't think there was anything it that was remotely scary and some of it which was supposed to be scary was funny and was ruined in the trailer. Meh.

Well I read the book and I can tell you it's a pretty messed up one.

I don't know if you are aware but in the book there's a chapter when the kids are making their way back from the sewers and get lost, so Beverly decides to have sex with all of them, gangbang style. Of course this scene was ignored in the 80.s mini series and and this remake as well.

I still think the first movie was pretty good and faithful to the book so I'm looking forward to this second one.

Wondering if we gonna get the spiders and the cosmic turtle...

I wonder that myself many times when I was reading the book. That scene is especially disturbing as we are talking about pre-teens kids (11,12). He even mentions that Ben ( the fat one ) is the kid that has the biggest dick and so he hurts Beverly a little bit more when he penetrates her but gives her the best orgasm.

The narrative of IT is full of wtf moments like this and I won't tell the explanation of Pennywise aka "IT"'s origin in the book so I won't give any spoiller but believe me, someone needed to have mental issues or being on drugs to come up with shit like that.

I read other books from King like "The Shinning" and "The Pet Sematary" which are both good especially the Shinning but IT is a fucking overlong mess book (more than 1000 pages) from start to finish.

I wanted to walk out of the theater half way in it was so bad. Just dreadfully boring, and felt like it would never end. The same IT kills for each victim, unfunny comedy and horrible cgi monsters with adults terribly acting scared. The movie came off as a bad comedy to me.

Re: Stephen King's 'It: Chapter Two' (September 6, 2019)

Overall I really liked the movie but I also wasn’t completely in love with the first so my expectations weren’t super high and easy to disappoint. I do wish there were less flashbacks as I didn’t need to see the kids in this as much as the studio probably felt. While I can say that this movie’s structure was a bit messy, I enjoyed Chapter Two about the same.
