The 25th Bond movie should be a big deal. If they want go and ruin that moment by appealing to crazy ass feminists then Hollywood can fuck off. I'm sorry but Bond becoming a woman is just a fuckin horrible idea. If feminists want more "female representation" then why don't they just create their own damn characters? Why do they have to come in and try to take characters that have already been established? You don't see men demanding that Alice in Alice Wonderland be a boy or Lara Croft be a dude.

Lol so sick of this shit. Let's hope Bond 25 doesn't go all SJW.
Pretty sure James is a gender neutral name these days. Didn't Jaime King actually use that as her stage name for a while? I also read somewhere that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively named their daughter James.

Sure I guess? I mean 60 year old grown men identify as 6 year old little girls in 2017 so you're probably right.

Daniel Craig will be back. They wouldn't of announced a release date otherwise, not unless this is a ploy to get him to stop procrastinating.

I just hope they finally ask Christopher Nolan to direct. He's made no secret of his desire to direct a Bond movie and his schedule just happens to be free at the moment.

Yeah Craig was persuaded to do one more Bond. I personally like the character he's been portraying. Each Bond is unique, some are more witty than others.. and some are more darker than others. I do kinda wish they would do something little into the stuff to honor Roger Moore, that would be pretty nice

I'm just saying that I don't know if there is even a thing as gender specific names anymore. I wouldn't be surprised to see little boys named Esther.

As for the other stuff I have no comment.

I would rather not have to see Daniel Craig as Bond again. it's time for new blood. I'm not sure who it should be, just that Craig's time is over IMO. It should have been Clive Owen instead of Craig anyway. I'd like to see Idris Elba just because I like him as an actor.

Daniel Craig's iteration of James Bond is, as @Vic Capri noted, something approaching the Bond of the original Ian Fleming novels. I'd actually say that the Bond of the novels resides somewhere between Craig's scabrous version and Timothy Dalton's wonderful and sensitive one; Bond as Fleming saw him was both cold but romantic, a sort of self-perpetuating self-contradiction who was excellent at his job while mostly loathing it.

Also, Gal Gadot as a Bond girl would be awesome. More in the vein of Olga though, not just eye candy.
Just wanted to say that I appreciate the Barbara Stanwyck signature!

Also, I'm pleased that the producers have settled in on a four-year gap following Spectre. If one reads the rush that that project had in its development and the screenplay for it, it becomes clear why the finished product was less than wholly satisfying. The 25th James Bond film is not something that should be rushed. Looking forward to this one in early November 2019.

25 has the same writers as Skyfall & Spectre so I don't think it'll be Nolan this time. 26 with a blank slate and new Bond is more likely.

I did hear Craig is expected back for one more too. So Waltz will also be back as Blofeld too then? I hope this film goes back to the more dark and gritty style of Casino Royale tbh. Best Craig as Bond movie and one of the best in the series.

Skyfall was good and Spectre was ok, but they should have made more of Waltz and that weakened the film imo. The story needs to end with a bang.

Yeah probably. But I always assumed "James Bond" was just an agent name, not the real name of the person.

I think there will actually come a time where it will happen. They've already done it to one iconic character, Doctor Who. There'll come a time where'll we get a female Bond and Bond Boys.
