Okay, here's some news--
There IS going to be another HELLBOY MOVIE.
It's going to be an R rated reboot directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game Of Thrones) and staring David Harbour (Stranger Things) as Hellboy.
More news to come soon--

Well this sure as hell came out of nowhere.

Ron Perlman will always be Hellboy. But whatever, I'm just happy we're FINALLY getting another one.

Re: R RATED HELLBOY MOVIE!!!!!!!

I'm happy to hear it, but a little sad that GDT and Ron Perlman didn't get to finish up their story.

Haven't seen any of Neil Marshall's movies, but I looked at his filmography and he directed the GOT episodes 'Blackwater' and 'The Watchers on the Wall ' , a couple of episodes of Constantine , and the "The Great Red Dragon" episode of Hannibal

Harbour is a good choice for HB. Have to start thinking about fancasting for the other roles. Hope they keep Prof. Broom alive this time. That was a misstep by GDT, I think.

Re: R RATED HELLBOY MOVIE!!!!!!!

Yeah I can totally understand the bitter-sweetness in this announcement. I adore Del Toro's two movies but the reality is he's lost a lot of sway in Hollywood because of his excessive budgets. His movies may look absolutely stunning on screen but they don't really make the studios a lot of profit. So I can't really say I am too surprised to see them opt for a reboot with a director who's able to do more with less.

David Harbour is actually an ingenious choice for Hellboy. I would of never of even thought of him for the role in the first place. But there's no denying he's got some massive shoes to fill.

Neil Marshall is a solid choice. As Ton has already pointed out he's responsible for some amazing episodes of certain big TV shows but his filmography ain't too shabby either. The Descent and Dog Soldiers are two tremendously underappreciated horror flicks. He's got the experience for the material IMO. And now the freedom with R rating.

From what I have read, Harbour was actually in the running to be Cable.

Del Toro isn't doing Pacific Rim 2... the first one didn't make as much as expected in the U.S. but it made a shit ton in Asia. I just don't think 2 will be the same without him and Hunnam.

Re: R RATED HELLBOY MOVIE!!!!!!!

Marshall and Harbour really are two excellent choices to continue Hellboy.

inb4 Harbour is better than Perlman.

my face regarding Hellboy before this reading this

my face regarding Hellboy after it

by the W, Neil Marshall also directed Blackwater and that one episode with the battle on the Wall.
