All of the 13 commissioned episodes that Paxton did for the show are done. It just depends if you get to see all 13 of them before CBS cancels it.

As for Bill, a great man was lost yesterday. But forever we will have his glory in film.

Also, Judge Wapner from People's Court passed away today at 97.

Re: The RIP Celebrities Thread

Sucks about Bill Paxton. Everything has already been said in this thread about him. Great actor. He could do it all.

As for Judge Wapner I just assumed he died years ago. 97 is a long life.

Re: The RIP Celebrities Thread

Man this news has really bummed me out. Bill wasn't even that old, he had many years left in him. He was still sharp enough to pick great material like Nightcrawler and Edge of Tomorrow. I've been robbed of one of my all time favourite actors.

Looks like 2017 is going to be just as brutal as 2016.

Re: The RIP Celebrities Thread

Yet another great actor that I grew up with lost and this one hurts as much as Carrie Fisher. Near Dark, Weird Science and Aliens were movies that made me who I am, for better or worse. Seeing Bill Paxton's name in the credits for a movie always guaranteed there would be something to look forward to in it. A great talent, lost way too soon. RIP.
