I'm kinda over new Terminator films. Hardly any of these sci-fi film series revivals have been any good.

T1 and T2 were awesome. Everything else has ranged from bad to simply mediocre.

Same for me. T2 is one of my favorite movies ever. But I think I'm done with the franchise as a whole. It's been beaten to death. I really don't know if there's anything that could be salvaged at this point. Create a new action flick, Mr. Cameron.

Re: He'll Be Back! James Cameron+Tim Miller Team Up for Next Terminator Film

Even with Cameron back at the helm, I'm unsure about another Terminator movie tbh. T1 and esp T2 are fantastic representations of their genres. T2 is one of, if not THE on a given day, the perfect movie of its kind. It's a masterpiece and will forever stand the test of time. In both its story and premise and the revolutionary action and phenomenal CGI.

In this day and age, I just don't know that they could do any sort of follow up justice. I'll see how it goes because it'll no doubt still peek my interest somewhat, but maybe it's time to move on.

Like John Lennon said when The Beatles split up "You got all your old records if you want to reminisce".

One of the remakes did do the machine wars part that you see in T2 didn't they? I havn't seen any of them tbh. When watching T2, it's one scene I have wanted them to expand on if Cameron was back on board. But a lot of time has passed and as I say, I'm pessimistic on how it would turn out.

I've lost my passion for the series, but a good movie could win me back.

The first two are perfect. I don't really care about the others.

Unless they get someone new to replace Arnie as the new Terminator, I'm not even remotely interested.
