Sawyer as Gambit

It sucks how he and Mathew Fox were never able to breakout after Lost. I thought for sure both of them would of been able to churn out good careers afterwards

That surprised me too. Last thing I saw Fox in was Bone Tomahawk. He was really good in it. Holloway never even got a chance at a movie career. MI ghost protocol was it and they killed him off in the first ten minutes.

Maybe Lost lasted too long and the heat they had died down over the course of the show. If it had ended a earlier maybe their careers might have taken off more. It's funny considering the popularity of the show, how the only one that really broke out of tv after that was Evangeline Lilly. Everyone else else just ended up doing more tv.

Re: DCEU Discussion & Speculation

Warner Bros/DC must have a lot of confidence in Suicide Squad if they're fastracking a sequel

I'd still prefer to see The Batman released on that October date, there's something about watching a Batman movie on Halloween that makes my nipples all tingly.

Very surprised to hear Snyder might be possibly allowed another crack at a DC property. I thought for sure he'd be a goner after Justice League.

His style would actually make some sense for a Crime Syndicate movie, if they're the protagonists.

Re: DCEU Discussion & Speculation

Setting up the Crime Syndicate as the villains in JL 2 would be cool, of course that would mean only one movie with Darkseid and they better not fucking kill him off. Patrick Wilson for Owlman?

And indeed Blackbeard, a Batman film as a biyearly Halloween tradition would be amazing.

Re: DCEU Discussion & Speculation

Man, The Batman doesn't release until 2019... Aside from Aquaman, that's the DC film I'm most interested in and I have to wait longer for those two than some of the other heroes.

Re: DCEU Discussion & Speculation

I was actually thinking to myself today that Patrick Wilson should play Sinestro.

You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.

That trailer made me cry laughing, especially when they skewered DC.
