Showing off that scene would give us a nice taste and wouldn't spoil anything since it's already been described to us in detail. I just realized Ezra and Colin Farrell are also in Fantastic Beasts, I guess WB likes to keep it in the family. :jbl

Re: DCEU Discussion & Speculation

Someone on IGN split the DCCU into three phases like Marvel's CU and I guess maybe it is worth talking about if this is the plan DC should of done right from the start.

After the disappointment that was Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, I had someone ask me how I would reboot the DC universe. I had a slow day at work and my boss said if I had anything else I had to do, I could do it while there was nothing to do. So I came up with this outline for how I would reboot the DC universe from this point and here it is. A list of the films and the order in which they would be released broken up into 3 release phases. I also added a brief overview of most of the films at the end to give some more context and explanation of how they fit together and introduce characters or include cameos. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on this, only a few hours, as there was some work that came out throughout the day, but here it is, my plan for a DCU reboot:

Phase 1

Wonder Woman : Cheetah
Flash : Mirror Master
Superman : Luthor makes Metallo
Aquaman : Black Manta and Siren
Batman : Court of Owls
Justice League : Vandal Savage & the Legion of Doom
Phase 2

Flash 2 : Gorilla Grodd and Captain Cold
Wonder Woman 2 : Circe and Ares
Batman 2 : Long Halloween
Superman 2 : Cadmus makes Bizarro
Justice League 2 : Doomsday and Galatea
Phase 3

Aquaman 2 : King Shark and Ocean Master
Batman 3 : Hush
Wonder Woman 3 : Felix Faust and Hades
Superman 3 : War World
Justice League 3 : Darkseid

Phase 1 Briefs:

Wonder Woman follows a thief (Cheetah) who steals the golden lasso and gauntlets from Themysceria to the world of man. She leaves without the wishes of her queen and mother Hippolyta and discovers the nature of humans.

Flash hunts for a someone that’s responsible for a series of robberies with no evidence of how they entered and left the scene.

Lex Luthor hires Metallo in an attempt to turn the public against Superman by showing him taking down a seemingly normal person brutally. Metallo survives though but left with much of his prosthetic skin removed and his metal body showing.

Aquaman leads a defense against an army lead by Black Manta looking to conquer Atlantis. Siren tries to take rule of Atlantis in the fight by taking out the Queen.

Batman investigates the death of a high profile millionaire in Gotham. Evidence suggests the mythical Talon is behind the death as Batman considers the Court of Owls may not be a ghost story after all.

Vandal Savage breaks Mirror Master out of prison, who then goes around breaking Cheetah, Metallo, and Black Manta out in order to start the Legion of Doom. Bringing together the heroes to stop this group from trying to take over the world, they decide to create their own Justice League.
Phase 2 Briefs:

Superman 2: Cadmus, backed by Lex Luthor, creates Bizarro from Superman’s DNA. He’s created as a controllable defense against Superman in the event Superman goes rogue, but Bizarro is confused when he sees Superman and thinks he’s an impostor. Superman finds Batman investigating the Cadmus facility, finds evidence of other facilities, a prisoner from Mars and a project doomsday.

Justice League 2: Batman and Superman investigate one Cadmus facility and find Martian who calls himself J’onn Jones. Cadmus try to stop the three from escaping the facility where a super girl they call Galatea assists Cadmus but she’s told to stand down and then escapes. J’onn tells the Justice League more information about project Doomsday from what he managed to hear while being held by Cadmus. The Justice League tries to prevent project Doomsday from being activated but are too late. Galatea comes to assist Doomsday in taking down the Justice League. The Justice League thinks she’s just another clone of Superman like Bizarro, but she turns out to be Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin.

Phase 3 Briefs:

Aquaman 2: King Shark teams up with Ocean Master to turn the lands dwellers and Atlantians against each other, bringing the two to the brink of war. But where are the rest of the Justice League? Busy with their own villains.

Wonder Woman 3: Felix Faust enters Themyscira and enters Tartarus to find and release Hades.Wonder Woman asks Batman for assistance but he’s busy looking for Superman. He tells her to seek out a woman they call Hawkgirl, who is said to have a mace that can counter magic. Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl go to Tartarus to stop Faust and Hades from leaving.

Superman 3: Superman wakes up in a cell and is forced to fight in gladiator matches with other prisoners. These gladiator matches are organised by Mongol, ruler of War World. Superman survives his second match with the help of a hooded warrior called Hal Jordan. Green Lantern and Superman face Mongol himself and his champion Lobo. GL tells Superman he was on his way back to Earth to warn them of a possible invasion by an army from the planet Apokolips.

Justice League 3: The Justice League are updated by the returning Superman and Green Lantern. A number of strange creatures are discovered leaving mysterious boxes at major cities around the world. The league scrambles to stop the Parademons and destroy the mother boxes but boom tubes open up over Metropolis and Darkseid and his army arrive.

WB won't even spend a million dollars to produce a DCAU movie unless it stars Batman, JLA or Teen Titans so you won't see a movie like that until they reach that Marvel level of success where every movie they crap out makes almost a billion no matter the quality. And even then it'll still heavily feature Batman.

Shilling for Xia Li, Aliyah, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley

I hear that when I was looking for Suicide Squad material someone here recommended Assault on Arkham. Great watch but had to roll my eyes because it was called Batman Assualt on Arkham, like they couldn't sell it without his name. Guy was hardly in it as well.

They did the same with Batman: Bad Blood instead of calling it Battle for the Cowl. There's also rumors of Superman being heavily involved in the Shazam movie, which was originally slated to come out this year but got pushed way back due to BvS; probably cause you can't have a dead Superman in it.

WB has no faith in any of their characters except Batman and Superman.

Which is a shame since they have rights to every DC character. I think the lack of promotion is why I'm not a DC guy much.
90s cartoons is why I got into comics while Marvel had Spider-Man, X-men, Hulk, Ironman, Fantastic 4 they even had a Silver Surfer series which was probably my favourite. Plus it was all in the same Universe as well. DC only had Batman and Superman I could be wrong but those two were the only animated DC series I remember watching. Not sure when the Justice League series came out but can't remember watching it in the 90s.
