Artist Carlos Huante shared some early Godzilla 2014 concept art with Godzilla and King Ghidorah.

Honestly I'm pumped to see a few of the other monsters join Godzilla in a modern movie, just wish Gareth Edwards remained as director.

Unless he's not incredibly busy (probable considering how in-demand he is after Rogue One), there's always a chance for him to do Godzilla vs. Kong.

Godzilla vs Kong is the one I'm looking most forward to.

Too early to tell who should direct that one but I think we can all agree that Larry Fong should the cinematographer.

re: Godzilla: King of Monsters (March 31, 2019)

The eventual Kong/Godzilla movie is going to be one for the ages (at least in my Kaiju fan addled brain) but I'm thinking about something...

We are all expecting Kong Vs. Godzilla and for them to fight each other, and yeah, they have to fight at some point in the film...but what if the movie ends with them teaming up?

What if the mid point of the film is the Kong/Goji fight and the ending sees them have to join forces against a stronger monster? Sort of like Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster where Godzilla and Rodan fight each other for most of the movie, but in the end, they put aside their differences to fight off the greater threat in Ghidorah.

I'm only suggesting it because both monsters have been established as, for lack of a better way of putting it, "good" monsters. They certainly aren't destroyers like the MUTOs and Skullcrawlers. They are guardians that keep the baddies in check. So it isn't that far off to suggest that they'd be thrown together against a greater threat.

Ive come to appreciate kaiju jobbers like skull crawlers, gyaos from gamera, kamacuras, giant octopus and id throw the mutos in there as well. Somethings got to be killed to show a power level.

I dream for the time godzilla and the boys get to face off with the ultimate jobbers, pacific rims kaijus
