Staff moderating their own arguments

For the sake of context I was recently banned for a week for sarcastically saying I didn't believe an administrator's had made a deliberate grammar error to try and ensnare me,nor that he was a very intelligent mastermind who played "chess not checkers". The person I was arguing with banned me for the following reason "I have feelings".

The ban message was " WHAT ABOUT MY FEELINGS ". I am not making this up.

I view this as the administrator in question getting pissy because I wasn't buying the shit he was selling, he banned me because he was sick of getting hammered in the argument. But hey, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I broke the board rules, I'm biased, but so is he because it's him who I was hammering.

My question is this - is it board policy for staff to moderate their own arguments? If it is I'd like to know so I can avoid getting into any discussions at all with staff.

It's not a rant at all, it's a legitimate question. If moderators and administrators are permitted to use their powers within their own discussions I want to know about it to avoid getting banned in future.

As I'm sure you can appreciate I don't want to name names at this point. This individual has already banned me for showing him up in one argument with him, if I were to call him out here he would probably look for some other excuse to ban me again.

This thread is about the policy - do admins and moderators supervise their own arguments? It seems like a huge conflict of interest to me, like a judge adjudicating his own case, but if that's the rule that's the rule. I just want to know so I can avoid any serious discussions with them.

Never been an issue. Everyone gets treated the same.
A "flame" is when you insult someone. Here at Wrestling Forums we try to have a community where you can freely express your views without too much moderation, but at the same time we do not want your views if it can offend another member. Thus, if you flame someone outside of the Rants forum, you are risking being banned. If a flame has nothing to do with race, sexuality, family members, or threats (such as killing) chances are it's probably not a bad insult. Flaming, especially in the Wrestling Section, will not be tolerated. Users shouldn't abuse other users just for posting an opinion. that's the whole idea of a forum - to post opinions. If you don't like it then post a valid argument as to why. No need to call a user a ******, wish death or tell them to fuck off and die just because you don't agree. Remember, try to keep all your "flames" in the Rants forum.
Please don't call me an idiot again. WHAT ABOUT MY FEELINGS. I HAVE FEELINGS TOO.
