How big in the industry do you think Raven could have been?

He was my favorite wrestler growing up. I would repeat his catchphrases, listen to his theme song constantly and enjoyed his knowledge of psychology in his matches. He could have been one of the greats. He was horrible at taking orders she needed his own freedom and was difficult to work with but how big do you think he could have gotten in the business? Do you think he lived up to his potential?

He would have been world champion in WCW if he stayed there. Unfortunately Vince Mcmahon didn't like him in WWE and always belittled him.

You need to be yourself, you can't be no-one else.

I never really watched him tbh. Only thing I really remember was him nearly getting run over by kane in the golf buggy with the referee clinging to the back. Absolutely hysterical.

He was a main event level talent for sure. Great mic skills, cool character and look. One of the biggest missed opportunities (of so many) in WCW. And the WWF dropped the ball with him even worse.

He would have been one of the figureheads of the WWF Invasion if they used him properly. Raven vs. Austin would have been the closest thing to one of my top "what-if" feuds in Pillman vs. Austin.

He was massively underrated by WWE, but at least he won another world title after his departure. Amazing character, look & presence. Also extremely charismatic and a great mic worker.

I liked him. Hes got a lot of good stuff from WCW. Him and DDP had a good little feud.

Re: How big in the industry do you think Raven could have been?

He certainly had the talent to be bigger than he was but at the same time, he had a pretty heavy drug problem, which was most prominent at a time where he could've really became a star.

Plus, he's one of those guys that, no matter how favorable his booking may be, if it isn't in accordance to how he envisions things, he's never happy. He's the kind of guy that, if you put him over, he has an issue with how it was done. If you use him to elevate other people, he has an issue with the details. And even if it's exactly what he envisioned, then it's an issue with how it came across. There's really no pleasing him, which might be the result of admitted issues he has a person, in particular: attention.

Yeah he does seem difficult. But he was full of great ideas and could be a tremendous booker
