WWE 2011: The 'League Of Legends' Reign!

WWE 2011: THE 'LEAGUE OF LEGENDS' REIGN!

BACKSTORY
The following Be The Booker storyline takes place in April 2011 and begins the day after Wrestlemania 27. The events of WMXVII remain exactly the same as they did in real life with one exception: Edge announced his retirement directly after his victory in the World Heavyweight Championship Match. If you need a reminder as to what else happened in that event, here is a suitable highlights package that sums things up pretty well:

Despite this, other things have taken place outside of real life that changes the events that take place after Wrestlemania XVII. Chiefly, Vince McMahon announced on Raw the night after Elimination Chamber that, in accordance with long-whispered rumours, Friday Night Smackdown would be coming to an end. In addition to this, over twenty WWE superstars would be dropped from the main roster. Most would be sent to developmental, but a few would be released. The remaining roster is listed below, along with the remaining championships. One more item was listed on WWE.com in the buildup to the Raw following Wrestlemania, and that was a promise from Vincent K. McMahon himself that the show would open with a very special announcement from himself about the future of management on Monday Night Raw!

Re: WWE 2011: The 'League Of Legends' Reign!

4TH APRIL 2011: MONDAY NIGHT RAW PREVIEW

That's right, Vincent Kennedy McMahon himself has something special to announce to the WWE Universe! After all the controversial changes that have taken place over the past few weeks, what more could be instory for the fans?! Whatever it is, it's big enough for Vince to come all the way from Headquarters, so it's gonna be special for sure!

But that's not all that's happening this week on Raw, let's not forget that this is a WWE Show after all! In the wake of his brother Edge's retirement, Christian isn't giving himself any time to lay low. He's jumping straight back in the ring and taking on Dolph Ziggler, who no doubt will be eager to banish bad memories of last night's defeat to John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki!

There's even more in-ring action though, and that includes not one but two championship matches. First up there's tag team action when Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel of The Corre take on their fearsome challengers Kane and The Big Show, and then there's the big rematch of the night. In the wake of the disqualification at Wrestlemania, Sheamus is taking on Daniel Bryan in a US Championship rematch, and this time it's NO DQ!

Oh and one more thing, Vince isn't the only one making announcements this week. It turns out it runs in the family, as his son-in-law has something to say too. That's right, somehow HHH isn't hospitalised after his defeat at the hands of The Undertaker last night, and he's got the WWE Universe's attention. Whatever he has to say, we're sure it'll be a doozie!
