I really like those swags.

I like how you do the eyes with those pointy ends. It gives your work a distinctive look.

The comic book looks promising too.

Re: swagger_ROCKS showcase thread

Digging the sequentials. I get the feeling you're fairly new to the visual storytelling aspect, but I think you're pulling it off well and it flows nicely. One thing I would say is to remember the rule of thirds in your composition, most of your panels have everything dead centre which works against you in making the story more visually exciting. More often than not placing the character(s) on one side of the frame and your word balloons opposite will make it more visually appealing to the audience and will give it a little more flair. Another trick you could use to great effect is to use a diagonal horizon line/shot, it creates more drama. a good example in these pages would be the "what the heck" panel. If you'd tilted the shot slightly to one side instead of the horizontal horizon line you could've created a heightened sense of drama. I like it though, I'd be very interested in reading a full issue, looks like a fun story. If you ever need any tips on some of the layout and storytelling aspects feel free to hit me up, I'm always happy to share what knowledge I did glean from my time in the industry. It'll also get me back into that frame of mind now I'm working on a graphic novel myself so it really is no trouble. Keep it up!

thanks a lot. You're right. And I do plan to not hold back in panels going forward, as it will only help me in the long run, and noted on the advise. And I do wish you luck on your graphic novel for the future.

Re: swagger_ROCKS showcase thread

couple of older pieces. I just starting traditional inking this year, and I really have fun doing it. but it's so tedious and can be really frustrating at times lol

Re: swagger_ROCKS showcase thread

first pic I drew all year minus a request I did for someone earlier. So disappointed it took this long. But I'm still working on my few manga ideas/OC.
