Has someone quit all social media successfully?

and if yes how has your life improved?

I wish I could do that, I waste so much time scrolling through my social media apps is so f*** addictive.

I'm hopeless (lol)

Unless you count boards like this, then yes. I was never into it in the first place. I had a Myspace back in college and that was about it.

Don't you have your friends nagging you like: "How come you are not on FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc?

How do you communicate with them, good old fashioned mobile phone text message?

I envy people like you btw.

No, because I'm such a loner, I really don't have friends outside of people I talk to at work and even then, I tend to keep to myself.

Same here. Got a MySpace for a few months, figured it was more trouble than it was worth, then said adios.

I've seen couples and family members fight or break up over shit on FB/IG. Plus creepy exs have a chance to stalk their former partner.

Re: Has someone quit of all social media successfully?

I haven't used FB in 10 years, I have a Twitter that I've only ever sent 7 tweets from and don't remember the login for, I have an IG that I use just to follow wrestlers that I've never posted to.

So 100% of my social media usage is looking at wrestler's pics, does that count?

Shilling for Xia Li, Aliyah, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley

Re: Has someone quit of all social media successfully?

The best way to avoid social media is to never sign up in the first place. My life is not interesting enough to require a Twitter account. Any rants or useless opinions I have shouldn't go past a pro wrestling message board.

Re: Has someone quit of all social media successfully?

I have Facebook so my friends and relatives can see the pictures I post of my son every month or so.

Beyond that, social media is a complete waste of time.
