Re: My first frozen pizza from 7 11

I'd eat a thousand of these before I'd eat any of the crap they have rolling under the heat lamps up front. It amazes me that every time I'm there there is someone buying a dried up hot dog, slice of pizza or chicken part. I'd be more apt to dig through the trash for a half eaten candy bar if I was that hungry.

Expired food is more commonly sold than you think. My son drinks chocolate milk. We've had several experiences of buying old, lumpy milk from Dunkin Donuts and Burger King only to return it and find out that all of their milk is long expired. I've also encountered several chain restaurants that will have an entire chip rack with nothing but bags that have been expired for months.

Not removing until (X ) Ric Flair shows up on TV stone sober.(It looks like he did it. Good for you Naitch

If anyone is interested in purchasing ultra rare footage of Pat Patterson winning the first Intercontinental Championship in Rio de Janeiro just send me your PayPal username and password and I'll take care of the rest.

It's worth noting that food expiration dates aren't regulated by the FDA or anyone else and are largely arbitrary. Now, there are certain foods you clearly shouldn't mess around with (particularly meat- and dairy-based products), but many foods are perfectly fine LONG after the expiration date.

That's not entirely true, because of one important exception: frozen fruits and vegetables. Though fresh is always better, frozen fruits and vegetables are a great way to maintain diversity in your diet when out of season. There's no way I'd be in the shape I'm in on a reasonable diet without an influx of frozen fruits/veggies during the winter.

I prefer Papa Johns, because there's something freeing about spending the last part of your day doubled over in pain.

Re: My first frozen pizza from 7 11

I live right down the road from a 7 11, had no clue they had frozen pizza. I might have to get one just to try it, making sure to check the date first of course lol.

Re: My first frozen pizza from 7 11

That's not an expiration date, it's a "best before" type of thing. If you bought the pizza in August, kept in your freezer and ate it in March that would be fine to most people. It's frozen, not a big deal.

Re: My first frozen pizza from 7 11

The pepperoni definitely had a funny color to them. I mean that was the reason why I looked at the expiration date in the first place, before putting it in the oven. I totally get that "best before" thing and how one can absolutely eat stuff after the expiration date. I really doubt this particular pizza would have been fine.
