Christmas Holidays

What are you planning on doing for Christmas and New Year's Eve ?

I'm not doing anything for Christmas Eve for the third year in a row, I enjoy cooking whatever I like and having a cup of champagne while watching Christmas movies like Gremlins or Die Hard.
I will see my parents and grandparents for lunch tomorrow though, as I always have.

On the other hand, I'm going to a party at my best friend's place for New Year's Eve. I did nothing last year and felt quite lonely.

It's just not the same when you grow up and get your own place.

Re: Christmas Holidays

Already wished a Happy Christmas to most of you guys, but to those I haven't, MERRY CHRISTMAS

For Christmas, I'm going to my step-mum's tomorrow to take over some presents and have Christmas Dinner. I'm not particularly thrilled at social interaction, and the fact I have a really awkward relationship with my family right now. But food is food.

At least Jesse Pinkman knows how I feel:

Will be going home afterwards, and snacking and watching Christmas films.

Probably not going to be doing anything for New Year's Eve. I don't really get excited about a New Year, it's just whatever to me.

I'm with the in laws, I like them, but they're the opposite to me, I just want a lazy disorganised day but this'll be a day set by the watch and everyone will have to be involved in everything.

Re: Christmas Holidays

Not much really, just hanging out with my family like we do every year.

We sit around our tree and open presents by our fire, have some finger foods for lunch, and then have a nice dinner of roasted duck. Basically, its mostly eating and chilling, and I can never complain about that

Re: Christmas Holidays

Just finished putting Santa's presents under the tree and partaking in the cookies and milk ritual (too bad I could never get the kids to go along with a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a beer for St. Nick).

Christmas Day will be just my family hanging out. Dad is coming over and it will be just a day to relax. Thursday we have Christmas with my brother and his family. .

New Year's Eve will just be chilling out as well...not since Y2K have I stayed up to see midnight on NYE. My two older kids are going to parties that night but otherwise that's it.
