Re: MJF Officially In Cody's Corner At Full Gear
I feel WWE has a tendency to skip capitalizing on great story lines. The biggest example is never turning Cena heel; then you can likely think of plenty of others. WWE sometimes misses an opportune time, but will later try to do the story after all the buzz has died and the story can fall flat. WWE doesn't tend to walk this line well. Recent HIAC is a good example; having Bray go for the title so soon appeared like "striking the iron while it's hot", but ultimately was too soon and they failed to book it.
With all that trash talk, I'm curious to see how AEW can walk the line of giving too much or not giving enough in terms of capitalizing on a hot commodity. Everyone is expecting MJF to turn at some point, but when? They're playing with our expectations and could drag this out for over a year. They could also cave and go for the obvious & expected heel turn. On paper, there is potential for whatever they do, but in reality if he turns heel right now it could damage him. MJF is in a very interesting spot because people want him one way without sacrificing the other.
Turn him heel right away and not surprise us, but give us an excellent heel? Keep him face and prolong this dynamic, always making us waiting and excited for the heel turn?
FUCK THIS COMPANY! FUCK ROMAN REIGNS! FUCK WWE! THIS WILL END WITH ROMAN BEATING UP THE HEELS AND THEN SCREAMING LIKE A DEMONICALLY POSSESSED LOLITA UINTIL OUR TV SCREENS BLOW UP!
