Currently WWE's RAW/SD is aired on FOX8 (Foxtel Subscription TV)...

Anyone know if AEW TV will be aired somewhere on Australian TV either Free-To-Air or Subscription TV?

Thanks.

I meant fite.tv @njcam; it's my iPad it bloody switches the words back it's so frustrating I could be writing out menus for work thinking sweet done print them and it will say lamb chops with sweet potatoes with a pea and mint jaunt it's meant so say jaux, so u can imagine the amount of shit I get in as when when head chef ain't it's up to me everything elsedoit easy means do them not being programmed to spell French words does my nut .

Yeah man I think u might have to watch it on y.tube but in a small screen like the ones who refuse to pay over £120 a month for sky q box it's not bloody James Bond half the freaking time it's off as I don't watch much tv .

Have a sweet day @njcam;

Kinda hoping I'd see it aired in Asia but I guess it would depend on U.S. performance and all the other places where they will be building their fanbase.

I doubt it, lol. I bet nowhere will pick it up and we'll be stuck with watching it online. Remember when they tried to air TNA in NZ and it flopped? They won't take chances on any wrestling that isn't WWE :lol

On the Foxtel FB page, they said it's not in their current plans. Like, come on, hot new promotion that would have people tuning in, but nah, let's just show repeats of Police Ten 7.

They don't even have plans for NXT even though everyone knew it was coming back to American TV.

I don't imagine they will anytime soon. Australia has a much smaller population than the United States, and AEW does tiny, tiny ratings for wrestling. Foxtel is also owned by Fox. Who are Fox friends with? Also, given my completely anecdotal forays into social media groups where wrestling is discussed, NXT is MUCH more popular with Australian fans. I have no evidence to back this up, but for everyone who says that AEW is great, there are three people saying that it's not as good as NXT.

Don't hold your breath.

Was going to explain how you posting this is irrational without even clicking on it. I said in my anecdotal experience. I don't go to bigfooty. I said where I've been, and that experience has been true, so no -- I'm not "wrong." I should also point out that being talked about isn't even what I was talking about whether or not people think it's good. I clicked on the website you posted. You might want to actually go into those threads...

It's basically very similar to what I'd expect to see. A general consensus that NXT is pretty good, with a few of the same posters arguing about whether AEW is good, AEW is okay but it's got its problems, or whether it's got major flaws and is missing the spot. Seems like pretty standard weekly discussion, with NXT being on a sliding scale of good and AEW having a fan that loves it's "undefeated" in 2020, and a few others discussing whether it makes sense. In the recent posts anyway. I wonder how much of this discussion was back when it was first announced, Chris Jericho was going and they had a billionaire backing them? Back when I was excited for AEW? Kind of like here, but the discussion is far more lively for NXT and far less for AEW there. Kind of my point.

Again, not evidence. I'm not going to do a giant poll either. But AEW is still small-scale. NXT wouldn't have its TV deals without WWE anyway. And that FOX connection always helps. But they've had that for years. But yeah, I don't think Foxtel will be too keen to piss off WWE. Could see WWE buggering off to Australian Netflix or Stan or something.
