Re: Most Overated / Underated Heel Turns ?
Kurt Angle's face turn in the beginning stages of the 2001 Invasion. It was a great storyline where Angle is a heel demanding to lead Team WWF and basically pissing off all the other guys on the team. By the time the PPV comes around he's shown his loyalty to the team and won the respect of the WWF faction and its fans. Then after Austin turns heel and joins the Alliance, Angle absolutely takes off as a babyface. It was well constructed and well executed.
It hasn't even happened yet, but I'm gonna say John Cena's heel turn, just because everyone will bitch about wanting him to go face again three weeks after it happens.
