NEAT. Followed, I'm HorribleBastard on there. I'm sort of a bald coward because I have dozens of films not logged yet. Wanna see if I can get to like 200 and log them all at once (outside of Octobers). Iunno why I'm stoopid.

Oh shoot, business is picking up. Followed :cozy

And three reviews right off the bat. Jaws: The Revenge. Oh good grief, that damn film. :lol

Was going to rec another Bava film - Lisa and the Devil - and I see it is in the list. Good, good. That's one of my all time favorites and then some. So has to be seen, all that good stuff. I don't think I saw it listed, but if not, then check out Mausoleum. I just saw it a few days ago myself, and loved it soooo much. Reminded me of something that was even pre-Laura Palmer/Twin Peaks-ish without giving too much away.

Aye, that's mostly what I've been doing since I started to commit to an October Horror watch. In that I'll watch some favorites for sure, but I really want to just go all in and see a bunch of things I've yet to see as it's all on the brain and really gets the creativity of exploration of the genre flowing. Instead of only watching some, the bug is real and it seems to be similar for us in that, why not watch as much as we can? That's the fun.

Giallo titles alone make me enjoy them. It's almost like content is irrelevant (but not really) Just because names are long, complicated and radical. Without Gialli there wouldn't be Slashers, so I'm more than happy for all of this being around. And noticing how much the Friday the 13th franchise takes from Mario Bava's Gothic/Giallo films as a whole. Like if you haven't seen A Bay of Blood (it's on your list, so I figure that means a yes?) then that's one you got to see and it'll click instantly when you see it.

The October list haul begins months early, I hear that. Although I don't have an entire hard-drive devoted to nothing but Horror films. Even if I probably should. This sounds wild, in the best way. :cozy

I imagine making a list of what you have d/l'ed would be FAR too much, but listing some of them because I'm quite curious would be cool. I've seen one Gothic Giallo film included a gorilla in the mix, so this premise you lined up sounds like something else I'd probably want to see. While I'm never "not" in a Horror mood, I def am back into it atm so all of this is making me want to watch stuff, while also lining up things to knock out for this year's immense viewing fun. Bergman's Hour of the Wolf gonna blow some minds, while the 70's Eurosleaze is gonna blur those lines on what is Horror and what is total Erotica. Those are some kind of a different experience.

Ah damn, thought you might have seen the Clusterfuck prior. Shouldn't have told you some of the details as per spoiling the fun for you in the moment.

Honestly, that's not too far off with the praise. I could probably have something with Necro over it (say vs Toby Klein KOTDM 04 for one) but I really haven't seen many Deathmatches that packed so much in so little time, with loads of insanity & heat like they did. Just wouldn't stop and everything topped itself. One spot in particular was one of the most gnarly things I've ever seen period. Two excellent young guns from their parts of the world having a new classic for sure.

The Clusterfuck was something else. NECRO in the whole match (pre-WOMEN'S INVASION, that is). And starting off with Gage too. Oh heck yes. Then I basically died with happiness when Ophidian was randomly in it. This is why WrestleCon is the best.

Park vs Tanaka was great stuff too :mark:

Did you see Jimmy Lloyd vs Takeda yet? Holy SHIT.

I'll have to read some of that, see what you thought of it in detail. :hmm:

Spring Break III finished. Here we go :mark:

I watched the entire Hitchcock Memorial show already, goooood stuff. The finish in Kingston vs Tanaka is so brutal; loved that this match actually got to happen. Ospreay vs Bandido & ZSJ vs Strickland were both really awesome, too.

Now to make sure I seed to keep this alive, as that's been my problem in the past. Although, I might have to still figure that out.

I'm spoiler-free on the Chikara events of 2019, as I'll probably be getting Chikaratopia back soon, and can do some catching up. But I do know what the main event is and I'm VERY excited to see how it turns out. But now to get Necro's return. Thanks, pal.

Do you have any way to see what Necro did during Wrestlecon? I mean I could buy Janela's show, and I probably should, but I'm a cheap lass and looking for other avenues to get my fix.

He'll be loathed worldwide for this. Deserving of some Necro level punches. Even I kind of can't believe I saw him myself, but even after over ten years, I still recall it all so vividly. One of my favorite things ever. :cozy

Same here. It all seems quite open, maybe I'd have to look at the same card to know who is already booked, but it is WrestleCon and at this rate, who knows who will pop up. I'm still lowkey wanting Necro to turn into PCO, just in terms of this getting him booked more. But even if it is a one off, I'll be very, very excited for the match. The endless amount of ideas vs Necro have been around since I discovered him.

I hate my brother. He got the CHOOSE DEATH shirt for his birthday.

I may have to steal it. No, I will steal it. The size being too large for me is irrelevant. I. Must. Have. It.

(it was very rewarding to finally hold it though)

The Hager vs Lawlor match ruled. Always been meaning to watch MLW. Got so many us indie guys that I like on the show but only catch it here and there. Watching ep 48 now with Grimm vs Ace Romero. Looks like a good show, you should watch it.

Sort of wish he was still known as Doc Hendrix by then. I watched a fun little Smothers match against Lawler from 97 yesterday, USWA is still a cool if out-of-place old school territory addition to a wrestling world that had moved away from it by that point.
