I wouldn't say that. As much as I find him to be an utter waste of a roster space, he did good in replying to her by telling her to stick it up her ass during their exchange as well as telling HHH that he should've called her a bitch instead of a witch.
You really didn't see him using a promo delivery that was very reminiscent of suit-wearing Jericho? Because if not, then I wish I saw what you saw since it would've been less insipid and lame compared to what I saw. And Miz is indeed poor in the ring, bruh. You certainly don't have to be a technical wizard to thrive in the WWE, but having a moveset made up of just punches, kicks, a Macho Man axe handle, a backbreaker / neckbreaker combo and a finisher gets really old really fast.
No, I really don't see the connection.
I'm not saying he's great by any means, but if you think he's a shit wrestler I wouldn't want to hear what you think of the great Kahli.
The limited moveset (those aren't even all his moves) doesn't mean shit. Look at Cena; he has very few moves but he's had lots of great matches.
I've been impressed with The Miz ever since his WWE title reign, his face run hasn't exactly been great but he also hasn't been given a lot to work with. I think if he loosened up a little bit and stopped trying to be serious "I want to kick some ass because I'm pissed off" Miz and started being the "I'm the smart mouthed underdog who's going to own you on the mic" Miz that he could be then people would be more receptive to him than they are right now. His natural personality just isn't congruent with the character he's playing on screen.
i don't get what everyone is so impressed with. he's doing fine getting beat up by orton. he was good as a heel long ago and was actually interesting on the mic. now he's boring and just ok overall at best. it's been years since he's impressed me.
