I know many of us thought Orton would cash in at SS. Are you happy or pissed Bryan lost to Orton? I have much respect for Daniel Bryan and his clean Victory tonight. :clap
Technically Randy didn't do anything wrong. He cashed in his contract for the WWE title within the rules of the contract he earned. I don't know why Cena would go run out and stop him because even he knows and understands the contract's history.
I have always enjoyed Randy Orton as a heel much more than Randy Orton as a face. I feel like Orton has really needed this turn for a long time now. I don't know where this angle is going, but I hope Orton gets a solid reign with the WWE Championship with Daniel Bryan giving chase. This will be a great fall program for WWE. I just hope they don't do the very predictable thing and have Cena come back and take over. Bryan deserves the spotlight here.
I would love to see Orton have a reign like the one he had from Oct. 2007 to Apr. 2008, length-wise.

Its always better when the heel has a long reign and the face chases. I dont care how great people think bryan is because long face runs arent very exciting
Gotta give WWE credit for the slow burn on the Orton heel turn. They've been teasing it and slowly building towards it literally for MONTHS. And it made perfect sense for it to happen tonight, in in the fashion that it happened. Kudos to creative for finally doing something the right way and not rushing it.

Having a face Bryan chasing a heel Orton should be very exciting for fans and the writer's to push forward into a great feud. When you have two faces going at it is only so much they can do or say.
I don't know for sure, but I've heard rumours that Cena will be out of action for a while because of his shoulder injury. Like everyone saw tonight at Summerslam. So in my opinion, that's why Daniel won clean and will start a program with Orton.
The rumors are true. Cena will take some time off for surgery. Passing the title over to Bryan helps build him up as a credible threat and future champion. Great SS where the losers even looked like winners.
Re: WWE.COM: WWE SuperStars React To The Hunter ScrewJob + Other Exclusives
not looking forward to RAW. I don't think we need more McMahons and seriously I'm overdone with non-wrestling or part time talents being the most over or spotlighted.
I didnt like it when it was Michael Cole, didnt like it when it was Vickie Guerrero and I doubt I like it now.
HHH is a blowhard, Orton is now interesting (finally), Bryan got shafted, Cena loses (finally) but things never change. Orton isn't a new face, I get the "at least it aint Cena" sentiment but both these dudes been on top and dominating forever. I just don't want to watch them wrestle for the title ever again.
Is Randy Orton really a heel? He promised to cash in Money in the Bank, and he did it. What's so heelish about that? Orton has always been "strike first", "screw you I do things MY WAY" kinda guy as a babyface. In fact, he was gonna leave Daniel Bryan alone until Bryan started celebrating and GLOATING right in Orton's face!! That pissed Randy off. I could understand why he changed his mind and wanted to cash in.
Triple H betrayed Bryan, and thus the WWE Universe. So HHH definitely turned heel. I get that part.
But if you ask me, Orton is still the tweener, living by his own rules and not caring what people think. Not the bad guy that enjoyed punting people in the head and ran like a coward at the first sign of trouble. IMO.
Re: WWE.COM: WWE SuperStars React To The Hunter ScrewJob + Other Exclusives
Funny that Big Show is upset because Daniel Bryan cashed in on his world championship back in 2011.
How was Bryan screwed? He of all should know Orton was going to cash in. He was bracing for the impact. Had HHH not been in the ring, he wouldn't be able to leave with the title unscathed either way because nobody could fend off both John Cena and Orton on the same night single handedly.
