The model types turn out fine if they're interested in getting better.

Layla's good, Kelly's was good (despite the 'Can't run the ropes' meme), Eve was good.

Give her time.
I'll get to Kelly in a second, but Layla and Eve had an athletic background (ex-pro cheerleader, which takes agility, discipline and years of training, which means they had the basic tools) so they managed to learn their trade easily.

Everyone has to remember Barbie Blank aka Kelly Kelly was just a 19 year old model when WWE found her and hired her and look at how successful her 6 year career in WWE was she proved models can be wrestlers
Kelly Kelly wasn't 'just a model' - if you were a fan, you'd know that. She was also a gymnast and a cheerleader. However, while those sports take dedication to get good at she, well, wasn't good at them. She's also a fucking moron.

Kelly got a successful career because she successfully slept her way around the locker room. She successfully fucked Test for two years, and also successfully fucked Batista, Justin Gabriel and (from what I hear outside of the dirtsheets) CM Punk since then.

It's worth noting that despite spending six years with the company, she never actually became a decent worker. She was always just a shitty worker with vacant eyes, no charisma and a great body.

Now, if this new girl has an athletic background and an IQ,there may be hope for her. If she's just there to be a glorified ring rat like Kelly Kelly, then she may as well fuck off now.

Sorry, honey, but none of that is true. She only dated Test, Batista and Justin. However, certain guys in the locker room, at various times (CM Punk included) used her like a human fleshlight.

And she was never a great wrestler, nor the most 'popular diva in the WWE' and she never sold a single ticket. Marketable? Sure, put her in a bikini and a horny teenage boy will buy the thing you put her on the front of. If she were generally marketable, Hollywood would've come calling. And, well, it hasn't, has it? And even if it did, she's too dumb to read a script, so it wouldn't last long.

But let's focus on her popularity for a second. She debuted in 2006. Most popular diva that year? Trish. 2007? Mickie. 2008? Mickie. 2009? Mickie James. 2010? Mickie James. 2011? Oh, wait, Kelly had been FIRED.

Popular? She was about as popular as the STDs she spread around the locker room.

I agree, we need hot girls and big guys, like it or not but if someone who know nothing about wrestle check out the WWE, this is the kind of people that will attract him. After, he will like the smaller guys but it's when you see guys like Kane that you think " Holy shit, that dude is huuuuge. I'm gonna watch him destroy the other guy "

She's hot and all but 95% of model types are shit in WWE. Only one's that worked were Trish (and she was a fitness model, so she had some athletic background) and to a lesser extent Layla (again, cheerleading, at least an athletic background).

We don't know anything about this new one, she could again be a model with athletic background or another kelly kelly/summer rae. We'll see.

EDIT: Eve was also a model? Didn't know that....her too.

But considering the amount that have come and gone compared to those 3 three.....yeah my point still stands.

Thank goodness. I preferred the bikini model divas over the Kaitlyns and Kharmas of this world, because I'm a straight male who likes seeing beautiful women and doesn't particularly care for good wrestling (if I did I'd watch something other than WWE).

If TNA could wake up the Knockouts division could rule. Everyone is either very good (Mickie, Tara, Gail) or was learning (Tessmacher, Taryn)only to disappear. It is like they can only use 3 or 4 at a time and rotate them off TV for months. Taryn and Gail had a great PPV match only to have it completely buried instead of building off it. WWE could hire all the TNA ladies for low end deals and have a great Divas division to help fill all those hours of TV instead of training models.

You do know that Trish was a model right ? So, if we follow what you said, they are doing the right thing :)
And nothing stop you from watching the Shimmer or Shine if you're not happy, I actually like Shimmer ( their last Main-Event is the steel cage was cool^^ ) but this is the WWE, this is mainstream and you pretty women. Do you think that a male is gonna watch AJ and says " she's hot, I'm gonna watch her " ? No but they are going to do it with the models. Hot women = ratings so it's better to have them, it's like the big guys, they are always going to be here because this is what you need in mainstream
