Re: Was the last Punk/Taker segment too much?

I think from what i have seen of Paul Bearer in shoot/interview youtube videos would absolutley love it, he was a wrestling entertainment man through and through.

But i thought it was classless and cheap.

I dont remember anything from the attitude era being that level of tacky so please dont bring that excuse up.

Do i want to watch Wrestlemania now after that 10 minute segment ? absolutely.

Still we get massive CM Punk chants loooool

Nope, and it was great. Made up for the shitty Lesnar/HHH and Cena/Rock build. Undertaker vs Punk actually feels like a feud.

best.

This is fairly basic storytelling. Mentor dies, the hero has to defeat the villain.

PAUL BEARERS FAMILY OKAYED IT.

He would have loved that he was associated with a major Wrestlemania feud and the last thing on RAW.

It was meant to be distasteful and cringeworthy because it is meant to get him major heat and get people to really feel uncomfortable and make people hate him for their match.

However I'm sure there are hundreds of better ways that RAW could have finished.

Im going to have a look on the WWE Facebook page to see if any angry mothers are writing in.
Exactly.

However it's funny how Punk jokes about people saying he looks like a crack-head and then lathers himself in "Paul Bearer's" ashes. I swear he looked like a junkie finally getting his fix.

Re: Was the last Punk/Taker segment too much?

Paul Bearer isn't a real person. He is a character, portrayed by a performer. The death of the character was used in a storyline.

I fail to see the problem here.

Wait no, I see the problem. You people are too sensitive and let your silly feels get in the way of simple logic.
