Re: Was the last Punk/Taker segment too much?

Punk spreading Paul Bearer's "ashes" all over his face made SCSA spraying his boss with a beer hose look like the PG show...loved every second of it.

Yeah it offends you and... Im black and seeing PTP or Cryme Tyme could offend me, Yoshi Tatsu could offend someone else. Wrestling has always offended someone. I understand what you mean but like I said all parties agreed, if Vince did this without permission from Pauls fanily and Taker and Punk not.wanting to do it then I would honestly be furious. But no way this storyline is happening without permission from the ppl that matter.

Yeah, that's one brightspot. Bearer would've been overjoyed.

As I said, I loved the segment. It's just pathetic the writers can only come up with heat and intensity in a feud if someone actually dies. I wish they would be able to make something this personal without stooping to something low like that.

To be honest. Some of the stuff posted on this forum offends me more than that segment.

At this point, I am shocked the WWE didn't have Punk dress up as Kane and have sex with a Paul Bearer mannequin in a casket.

Nice touch by Heyman (pic) lol. From watching the seg I hated it although not because I found it disrespectful, I thought it was lazy. It appears I'm in a major minority going by this forum it just gave alot of people a reason to buy WM29

I'm sure they'll surprise us all with their performance this Sunday. I won't be able to buy it, but I'll just imagine how it will go down, mark out at the possibilities, and hope WWE won't let me down.

Oh god, I had forgotten about that horrible storyline. Kane sure has endured a lot of crap during his years in the biz.

Re: Was the last Punk/Taker segment too much?

I think it was fucking great, wouldn't have worked otherwise, the insane punk pouring the ashes over taker and rubing himself with it was awesome, made him look like a psychotic bastard who needs to be put down for good (which will happen if rumors are true and he goes away for several months), made the segment actually work and made it much more interesting
