Am I supposed to be impressed with Big E Langston?

Because I'm not in the slightest. For some reason, this asshole will be competing in a match for the Tag Team Championship at WRESTLEMANIA, which mind you, is supposed to be the biggest WWE event of the year. What has Big E done so far? Hmmm, let's see. He "debuted" by attacking John Cena and becoming Dolph's bodyguard. He embarrassed himself on the mic once. He showed us his terrible finisher three or maybe four times. He hasn't wrestled one match. In other words - he hasn't done shit and yet he will have a match at WrestleMania? And not just a match, it will be his in-ring debut! Yeah, the fact that BIG E (and Fandango) will be debuting at WrestleMania just shows how low WWE has sunk. It's pathetic. fpalm
Because of him, Team Rhodes Scholars (two wrestlers who are actually good) will most likely compete in the pre-show match against Tensai and Brodus Clay. I don't care about Dolph, he's Mr. MITB and I think it's obvious he will cash in on Del Rio and become WHC. He doesn't need a shitty match for the Tag titles. Rhodes Scholars finally capturing the tag titles and Team Hell No finally breaking up would be so much better... But no, let's put this guy

in that match fpalm Ted DiBiase Jr also made his in-ring debut in a match for the Tag Team Championship (and won) but at least his storyline was interesting & built properly. No one gives a fuck about Langston and I don't understand why WWE is trying to make him look like big threat. I've seen some of his stuff on NXT and there's NOTHING impressive about him. He just sucks.

I agree. I've watched Big E on NXT and aside from some funny one liners like victory being delicious, he's not much. Solid build, ton of strength but very boring in the ring and very boring on the stick. He's just another Bobby Lashley, that is one step above Johnson and Jackson but boring and overpushed regardless.

As far as boydguards go I rank him with Tyson Tomko. Funny, but very little potential. I don't understand why people compare him to Nash. Nash was miles better than this frog.

I totally agree with the thread starter. He has done absolutely nothing to impress anyone, all he has done is sneak attack people from behind and do his shitty move set on them.

I didn't realise he was in the tag title match at mania but I guess that warrants a tag title shot now.

The fact is you have to earn your way onto the mania card, guys like fandango or big e langston should not be on the card (i don't care if it's pre-show or not).

You're an idiot, why haven't you been banned yet?

Firstly, how the fuck is he overrated? Nobody gives a shit about him, he's hardly being billed as the next big thing. And what do you mean he would be squashed? If you're talking physically, then no, he wouldn't. If you're using the term from a booking standpoint, then yes, he probably would be, but that has no relevance to him being overrated at all. In actual fact it's proving quite the opposite, it's showing that creative doesn't rate him highly and therefore have no problem feeding him to Ryback.

Go buy a brain, please.

They haven't given Big E much of anything to do at all, but it's not his fault. Neither he or Fandango are in charge of the way they're handled or booked. Also, yes they're both making their in ring debuts at WM, but the business has never really been fair, and it's not like they are gonna shoot down a chance to perform on the biggest night in the industry I mean c'mon.

I like him tbh. He's huge, look like a menace (allthough he's face it's funny) and it's not look like the typical powerhouse, he's short, but being very big, he still quick and agile. Maybe he's finisher it's the worst part. And the way he's booked. He just attack the guy who Ziggler win (if he does, that it's not usual). He could be the black Ryback, but heel. But he's not. He's just a bodyguard.

I usually watch NXT and he doesn't show too much in the ring. He hits 3/4 moves and squashes the guy. I think i never saw any match longer than 3/4 minutes that involves him. I don't think he's that good in terms of in-ring display but he has the look that Vince loves. :vince2

OP sounds kinda ignorant, tbh.

But to answer the question, obviously you're supposed to be impressed with Big E. Do you really think WWE's booking him to not look impressive?

And here we go judging the guy before we've even seen him in an official match in the big leagues.

That's your prerogative whether you dislike Big E or feel he doesn't deserve to be in the tag team match against Team Hell no at Wrestlemania, and at this point you're probably right because even though I'm enjoying Big E's alliance with Ziggler and Aj, aside from attacking Cena and being a muscle head lackey he hasn't been given much to work with since his debut onto the bigger screen. In truth he's actually just another superstar been held back atm.

In Langston's defense WWE hasn't given any real opportunity for him to break out and in the end it's not his fault, he's just doing his job. The man has shown to be charismatic and different from the usual generic powerhouse drones. From what I've seen of his NXT run, he's shown people he can be a successful dominant baby face, with his successful 5 count gimmick, and if booked correctly in the future I can see him being a successful uppercard/main eventer.

a tag team would be the best spot for him (well, really beiong a bodyguard to someone is the best spot, but eh..)

pair him up with either another powerhouse, have the other team sell for them for a few minutes, go from there to whatever finish you like..or even an old heart foundation type thing, put him with in the neidhart role alongside a really good worke (yes, i know neidhart is better than big E, the point remians).

theres a place for him in wwe.

Someone is working too hard here.

Just relax you are not forced to buy the ppv, DAMMIT you are not forced to watch it! Sure Cody and Sandow would be better on the card of WRESTLEMANIA but you still have 3 BIG MAIN EVENTS that never happened before, with a great build up, with all the wrestlers in great shape busting their asses all year and still at a fresh age! Oh wait...

Guess the whc match could be fun, plus there is the shield match and the chance of Ziggler cashing in...

Well fuck it! I'm going to do what the washed up old guys and drug addicts do! I'm going to TNA!
(just a joke, that might be true but I still have much more fun watching TNA than wwe)

Wrestling is full of re-matches, what never before seen matches are we going to have? Rocky vs Ziggler, Undertaker vs Antonio Cesaro and Brock Lesnar vs Sheamus, and just for kicks Cena and Punk will team up to take on Clay and Tensai? Fantastic card.

He's only getting this match because he's Ziggler's body guard/ partner. There's no connection between Rhodes Scholars not being part of Mania and Langston having a match.

People really need to stop complaining. Rhodes and Sandow are 2 good to be Ziggler's lackey. You guy complain about rematches then want Ziggler to face Jericho for the 5th time.

Big E makes me sick, he is pathetic, does not even fulfil his role as a bodyguard or whatever he is suppose to represent. Everythime he comes in or interferes with a match, it angers me (not because he is a heel), because he is very awkward and fake looking. I dunno, he stinks of fake-ness to me. And he also has no mic skills whatsoever, WWE do not even give him any time on the dam mic, what do we know of this dude in the months he has been on TV? I tell you, F all.
