No, he's not. Better than Lawler, since anyone can be, but he's not better than Cole.

Cole is the worst play by play person the WWE has ever had. He doesnt even know the name of most of the wrestling moves. Its always a joke hearing him call someone with a big move set like Daniel Bryan. Oh there is a submission move by Daniel Bryan. Cole is the most annoying commentary ever. Brad Maddox would be way better.

Re: Brad Maddox on Commentary

Yeah, Cole is bad. It just so happens that Maddox is 100000000000000000000000000xs worse. You think Maddox would be able to call those moves? Nope. At least Cole can construct a coherent sentence and knows how to accurately display emotion. Brad Maddox sucks. Opinions are opinions, and you're allowed to have yours, but you're dead wrong on this one. Sorry, pal.

"LOL Maddox hater here..." Are you 10? I've said IN THIS VERY THREAD that I like Maddox. It still doesn't change the fact that he isn't better than Cole, he wasn't good on Friday night, and he was god awful on Monday night. Cole and Lawler buried him? So what? All they were doing was adding salt to a wound that Maddox cut himself.

That is your opinion.
I can't stand that prick Michael Cole.

Re: Brad Maddox on Commentary

Yeah he was quite good. Not quite at JBL's level but JBL's had a lot more experience.

As long as they get a decent heel commentator (JBL or similar) I couldn't care less who it is.

All time: Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk

Current: Randy Orton, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose

Premier League Fantasy Football: The Special Ones

Re: Brad Maddox on Commentary

Maddox got an interesting way of talking, commentary or promos. I do see a future for him, hopefully as a wrestler and not as a manager though - although with his size he won't get into any too important in-ring-role anyways. Ask Vince. Or Evan Bourne for that matter.

One of the highlights of last weeks Smackdown was his commentary. I'd love to see him have a permanent role as a commentator.

Re: Brad Maddox on Commentary

I enjoyed his commentary actually, some of his lines were clever in a Heenan-esque way
