Cesaro, United States Title, and President's Day
Already moving on because I can't believe how horrible the WWE's main event booking has been especially adding in last night's predictable outcome. I feel bad for those who actually spent money watching the PPV. Not that Antonio Cesaro is very exciting, but I feel his "act" as of late has been somewhat nostalgic. Carrying the American Flag proudly, and showing that he is our United States Champion. He successfully retained his title last night vs the same the man who defeated John Cena at WM two years ago for the WWE title, The Miz. For those that don't know President's Day falls on a Monday.
I think Cesaro should still have the United States Title, and he should do something very special for that day, and that night on Raw. Have him go through some of the Presidents, and shame them, or criticize them for being awful people. For example he could talk about Andrew Jackson's duels, or Nixon's paranoia, or even JFK sleeping with Monroe, or even Hoover cross dressing. There are plenty of things that he could find about our current day politicians as well that are much more darker than this. He could completely disgrace those Presidents, and then say it's a shame Americans won't allow a foreigner lead them into greatness just like he leads the WWE Universe as their United States Champion.
Cesaro then says that he will only award United States title shots to foreign born stars only. That is until the United States Government says it will change it's laws, and allow a foreign born man run the country, and as the leader of the free world. I like this idea for Cesaro because it now opens options for guys like McIntyre, Mahal, Gabriel, Kofi, PAC, etc. Excluding Americans from United States title shots is a great way to go over as a heel without the same old rhetoric of how fat, or lazy we are. Completely cutting off Americans from United States title shots is a heel thing, and it's creative. It's never been done before to my knowledge either. :talk
